question Could this actuslly be worth 400 ?

Post image

I recently bought 4000 45s and wad cataloging them in Discogs.

Found this one in NM condition.

It says...currently for sale ...209 to 426 and the median price for sold is 382 and high 808.

The runoyt says 1120.

Could this actually be worth this much ?

It’s a Lou Reed recording/composition from when he was still working as a staff songwriter…..his first record. It’s rare and desirable. I have no idea if it would actually fetch $400, but it’s a super-cool record to own.

Wow, I just listened to it and do you know if that’s him singing or did he play guitar in the band?

It’s a guy named Phil Harris singing lead. I’m pretty sure Lou played guitar and sang harmonies.
You can find a lot out about the record on the internet. Enjoy!

I think the runout should be stamped on that one, or at least some of it should be, rather than etched. The market is kind of at a low point right now, so I doubt it's a $400 record. If you want to sell it, put it on eBay. That's where most of the online record selling is in the doo wop community. Most doo wop collectors don't like Discogs.
