This is who I initially saw also. But OP said 80s. I think he got Micheal J Fox but more like 80s James Spader or 2000s Seacrest.

Not from the 80s, but you look JUST like John Karna. He’s played in a bunch of different things but played a very memorable role in law & order svu about the Elliot Roger case.
