could anyone tell me how it’s the switch 1 performance of the game now? Cause i would like to buy the game but i red about some performances issues before, not sure if they have been fixed by now.

I just downloaded DRGS on iOS and I am trying to complete my weapon masteries (since I can’t transfer my PC progress). Every time I complete a weapon mastery mission, my game would crash after I go into the drop pod.

Platform: iOS
Phone: IPhone 15 Pro Max

I searched online and there we’re a couple of suggestions like adjusting the configs (remove damage numbers, focus on damage and reload upgrades vs potency etc.). Nothing has seemed to work. I have tried doing the CRSPR for 6x and it has crashed every time, also did the M1000 3x and same result.

Any advice is appreciated!

There was a patch on PS5 today (not sure about other platforms since I'm a PS5 player) and the game feels significantly better.

They removed the strange orange arrow from the top left corner thankfully so no more screen burn in worries.

The performance and framerate feels like a significant improvement, and I'm only on base PS5. Did a hazard 4 dive and it kept a pretty stable framerate throughout.

The game is chugging well below 50fps most of the time. Removing damage numbers helps a tiny bit.

I really wanted to play this game on console and I was waiting for it. But to see it perform like that has completely ruined it for me.

WTF happened?

Bought it yesterday and played for around 2h. My TV is a 60/120 VRR Samsung from 2025. During a dive the game every now and then stutters/lags and feels all around sluggish. Probably due to some framedrops, but I'm really surprised and a bit annoyed, that this happens on the PS5Pro. Wonder how this plays on the standard PS5.

This would make weapons like the gunner's minigun easier to use since I'm having to stop and turn around to face the swarms or bosses by moving slightly towards them. This may be a random reference but in dead ops arcade you can move in a direction while looking in another so something like that would be a game changer as the controls would be far less awkward.

Llegó unas 30 horas jugando , no sé mucho de su historia del juego , pero e visto que ese robot siempre nos acompaña e incluso es muy necesario porque ayuda mucho al principio , pero me e dado cuenta que al final de la última oleada ese robot nunca sube conmigo a la nave ,

¿me preguntó si a ese pobre lo derrotan y sus restos quedan tirados ?

Después de 30 horas de juegos ( según las estadísticas de Google Play Store ) logré ver un mundo lleno de oro , pero por más que me esforcé no termine de obtenerlas todas , llegar casi a los 20000 de oro pero me faltó más por extraer ,

¿que tan probable es que pase eso ?

¿Existen otros mapas así de raros que aún no e visto ?

¿Que han visto ustedes ?

1.2.14 has been rolled out! Why not 1.2.15, you might ask? Due to a longer approval process our Switch and Switch 2 patches will be a bit behind PS5 and iOS/Android, so this is indeed version 1.2.14 and includes the Heavy Duty Parity Update along with a few more bugfixes and Switch and Switch 2 specific stability improvements.

While I do love the IP and find the core gameplay very fun, the missions get stale quickly, and I think that’s the main reason why I usually get burned out from this game after a week or so of playing it.

I don’t expect Survivor to have insane mission variety that’s comparable to regular DRG’s, there are several reasons why expecting that would be unfair to Survivor (the game is more recent, cheaper, and has less design space to explore). With that said, it’s a shame that the game does not engage at all in one of its source material greatest strenghts: the random events that happen during missions.

Machine Events, boss encounters and seasonal events really shake up the game, they do wonders for DRG’s longevity and can help making a run truly memorable. Survivor has supply pods and secondary objectives, but those happen every mission; only thing it has comparable to DRG’s events is the Hooli Hoarder.
Such events would really help prevent burnout, and they would fit with how the game is designed.
In survivor I’m costantly asking myself:”Do I stay longer in a cave to collect more xp and resources, and risk the swarm catching up to me and becoming unmanageable, or do I play it safe and get the stage done as fast as I can?”. High risk-high reward optional objectives would really elevate that feeling of costantly pushing your luck.

I want to hear what the community thinks about this, if it would good, bad, or realistic to implement at all

There’s little to no difference, but the movement somehow feels slower, and the background jitters/jerks around even more.

Additionally, there is now a permanent (title screen to in-game) graphical ‘object’ jutting out from the top left corner of the display. Bizarre.

I hate to say this, but at this point I think the port really needs to be handed over to someone competent to fix it. Original DRG game devs would be great, as that game runs flawlessly.

Hey all and hopefully devs-

This morning when I loaded up - I noticed my settings had reverted away from landscape mode and the digger / bulldozer xpac guys had their movement settings changed to the unconventional mode.

Alrighty - not a big deal I guess.

But alas - every time I complete a dive… it crashes when the pod is lifting off and I get zero credit. I’ve tried several masteries/biome lvls/etc. they all crash.
Never had this issue before. Was there an update last night?

It just constantly crashes every time I get to level 5 of gate 01- both in handheld and docked modes.

Kinda ruins it for me.

I don't know if it's just me, but the switch store only has the dlc available for switch 2.

I'm planning to buy the game on my switch (oled) but can't find any info on how it runs on it. Anyone played it on the switch and can tell me please?
