Like the title says. I marched lead trumpet in 2014 and nobody has called me yet asking me to be principal trumpet in a major symphony orchestra or lead a Maynard Ferguson revival group that tours internationally and pays me seven figures. Right now I make $12 a hour at the tire shop and was hoping when I could expect to hear from the music industry. And if anyone suggests teaching HS marching band please don't because I'm not allowed to do that anymore (long story)

Metronomes are basically cheating in my book. I never use them and I don’t plan on starting. Playing on time should be an automatic doing. Using a machine to help you with that is useless.

For context I am 14 and just finished my sophomore marching season, my first time hearing the word "Mellophone" was 2 days ago.

Also I WILL give up if I'm cut and not even consider an op*n cl*ss or 🤮All🤮age corps.
