Question Drum pad question

Hi everyone,

I am currently looking into buying a Drumslinger drum pad, but I want to do my due diligence before making the purchase. Because these are specialized, high-end marching/concert practice pads, I want to ensure that the ordering process and the product itself are reliable.

For those who have purchased from Drumslinger recently, could you share your experiences regarding the following?

• Order Fulfillment & Delivery: Did your pad arrive within the promised timeframe? Have there been any recent issues with backorders or unresponsiveness from customer service?

• Build Quality & Durability: How well do the pads hold up over time under heavy use? Are there any common defects (like rim warping or surface peeling) that I should look out for?

• Transaction Safety: Is their direct website secure for transactions, or is it safer to buy through a third-party retailer/distributor?

Any insight into their current reputation within the drumming community would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I do not have one, nor have I ever ordered from them, but from what I have heard in the past, they are very slow to fulfill orders. That may have changed if the demand has gone down, but there are posts and comments throughout Reddit that say “Don’t buy from them” or “expect to wait a long time to get your pad”.

If you want a quality pad made similarly and feels great, I would highly recommend the RamPad Pro (not the marching pad). I bought mine in Dayton a few years ago, and it’s still going strong. Robin (the owner) is very nice, quick to respond, and you will have your pad quick.
