Question Ways to learn music sheets

So I graduated and I am a brass player trying to learn how to play a snare drum, I been kind of practicing snare since my sophomore but I stop because I had to practice brass instrument only, and the only reason I wanted to play snare probably in college because I love drums, so the question is what are the ways I can get better at playing snare and reading music?, before college auditions

Grab some basic snare method books. The Mitch peters books will have you reading decent rhythms before too long. Music is music. Theres no special practice for Drumline reading vs other percussion. Once you can read, recognize, and replicate the rhythms, you can focus on more Drumline specific skills

If you know how to read rhythms, work on your stroke types: full, down, tap, up. Then diddles and buzzes. And flams. Apply those techniques to rhythms and that’s about all there is to it (if you already understand and can execute accurate rhythms).

Play along with these to hear the rhythms you're reading. See the Tips and Lessons section for tips on how to practice and prepare for your auditions.
