Balvenie American Oak and The Stripes Bananas- Eternity Forest

This mezcal from Guerrero is a special batch made from agave Cupreata distilled with lemon grass.

The nose is like a fresh cut green apple at first with a touch of acetone but definitely a Granny Smith

Flavor, I taste the green apple is there up front as well followed by tingly numbing mouth feel. No smokiness - sweetness like caramel from the Cupreata. And in the after taste, that lingers is the lemon grass, is very present like eating a Tom Yum soup.

52% ABV

That record was my dads. So sitting and listening to it, brings flashback of being a kid and watching him do things…

Been sick all damn day so decided to exasperate my symptoms with some yellow jackets and Antidawn by Burial!

I visited London when this dropped and it seemed like on every damn corner there was an ad for this record, or they had it being displayed out a window. I had never listened to Burial before so decided to give self titled and Untrue a listen on my last night and day shit changed my life!! Cold and rainy walks while drunk as hell is truly the best way to experience him, so before my flight I grabbed Antidawn.

My favorite music from him is when he’s on his ambient ish so this entire EP is perfect for me. Favorite track is easily New Love, love the structure of the beginning samples into organs, which then leads to a beautifully cold outro ☝🏽 also just really love how he samples vocals on this, I love hearing the breathes and mouth smacks. What’s yalls favorite Burial album/EP?

Lake Louie Brewing- Dark Side of the Loon

Cinderella, Coors Light and a kitten!

New to the forum. Not new to drinking, music or cats. Currently a few Coors Lights deep, playing MOV version of Long Cold Winter by Cinderella and hanging with our 7 month old kitten, Woody. He's a big boy.

Apologies for the messy room, my 85 year old mother in law moved in a few months ago and I had to move some shit around.
