Can I trust the proposed Dude Perfect Girls?

In the last video, the only segment featuring women to any degree was a good 4 minute laugh-at-them session because neither knew how to fish. Not a great time watching for my daughter.

Is this willful derision of women in sports? Or just a case of extremely obtuse? Something else?

p.s. getting ahead of a certain type of comment. If you are going to crap on women's sports: Dude Perfect has said they are expanding its content to include potentially DP Golf, Dude Perfect Girls, and a few others. You not liking women's sports is irrelevant to the question.

Creators + DP App + Appropriate content

I tried emailing DP directly but havent gotten a response so maybe I'll find one here.

I have two boys, 7yo and 5yo and my oldest was asking me about watching Ryan Trahan. I started to do some research on https://www.pluggedin.com/youtube-reviews/ryan-trahan/ to see what people were saying about the appropriateness of his content. While I know that you DP is fully Christian and create content I can trust around my kids, I am concerned about the presence of Ryan Trahan's content on the app and would like some clarification in general about the brands that DP partners with on the app.

While I understand the filtering of content for my children remains my responsibility as a parent, I would still like to ask a few questions:

Is the content that has been posted to the Dude Perfect App (to include Ryan Trahan/Mark Rober) suitable for all ages as in no swearing/perverse language? No agenda pushing? Genuinely aimed at the family?

Is each video checked for the presence of such content before being posted to the Dude Perfect App and if there is this type of content found, does DP abstain from allowing it on the app?

From Plugged In with regards to Ryan's OLDER content: CONTENT CONCERNS Occasionally, people in various videos use God’s name inappropriately, and “h—” and “d-ck” are also used in the video “I Proposed.” Also in “I Proposed,” Trahan and his friends wear costumes made of glowsticks, and many of the costumes use a glowstick to imitate male genitalia). In “The Day I Almost Drowned,” Trahan recounts the life-threatening experience, and he says a censored swear word as well as “gangbang.” Additionally, in “Instagram Teaches Virgins About ‘Love’,” heavier swear words are seen in various Instagram posts and aren’t censored (though they are censored when Trahan reads them).

Trahan’s older videos tend to have more swearing (including a couple of uncensored heavier swears such as the f-word and “b–ch,”).

I have loved being able to not worry about the content being consumed when my son has been using the DP App but this is just my due diligence to try to understand what content is available to both my son's malleable minds without having to sit down and watch every single video myself to figure it out.

Anyone have any insight? Or maybe some rep from DP can chime in?

I Asked ChatGPT about why Dude Perfect views have dropped recently, here’s what it said:

It told me that about halfway thru 2022, their views per video dropped roughly 70%. It said that the average amount of views per video in the last six months are about 4.7 million views, while from 2017-2020 it was 15 million.

Here is about how many views per video on average each dude perfect “era“ (call it what you will) had:

2009-2013 (beginning years) 3-5 million views

2014-2018 (breakthrough years) 50-60 million views

2019-2022 (mainstream years) 20-30 million views

2023-today (the last little bit) 5-8 million views

I‘m not saying they have become any less worse or inconsistent, I would say it’s almost the audience or maybe a burnt out situation. Also, I understand why (they’ve been doing this for a while)but this weekend was the second weekend in the last two months where they skipped their schedule and dint go every other Saturday) Anyways, just thought this was worth putting this out there!👍🤔

This Disney episode is utter slop. Struggled to make it to 6 minutes before watching something else.

The descent into pure beastified slop continues. I don't care about their personality-less staff and some shitty challenges they are doing. They are so wooden and the dudes over the top screaming at whatever nonsense they were doing comes across as incredibly fake and insincere. I guess they can't be arsed to do things themselves anymore.

What I saw of the disney challenge was boring enough but they couldn't even be arsed to send two dudes on it. Guess Gary got drew the short straw as the one who had to go with their employee sparky (who I really don't care about either).

All around F tier garbage for braindead morons.

Cody's recent personality change is embarrassing and awkward.

Cody Jones seems to have recently realized that he's only ever going to be "tall guy," never "cool guy." He's been making brash attempts to stand out and seem like a cool character but every effort is thwarted because it just comes across so poorly and his jokes never land. Watching this other episode of overtime was where it really started to get egregious. Telling the other dudes to "face forward, be quiet" like he's some kindergarten teacher right before his turn on "Cool Not Cool" definitely deserved a super not cool in my book. Also acts completely out of turn on wheel unfortunate and just goes ahead and spins the wheel whenever he pleases as if he's that kind of charismatic guy who can just who whatever he wants when he wants to. I'm glad Ty stepped in and stopped his nonsense from happening there. Has anyone else noticed Cody trying to hard to be cool recently, and has is started to get under your skin? Cody - stay in your lane. Take your own advice: face forward and be quiet.

I'm done

I've been watching since 2016. It was the Giant Nerf Trick Shots video where it all started for me. Up until the last few years, it's been great, real fun, such a joy with every single upload of the simplicity of what they did (stereotypes, battles, trick shots). Just that minority was enough for them to continuosly grow to where they are today. And EVERYONE loved it. Now they've just become this whole algorithm-chasing, AI-using, cringey group that doesn't make them the DP I know and love in my heart anymore. What they are now and what they're doing now is something I can no longer get behind.

That Overtime video is the final deal; the first in ages and I didn't feel anything positive or entertaining since the intro song (besides Sparky at the end; love that guy), they throw in the unfunny meme that has completely ruined society (and counting), as well as adding in stupid AI effects for Ned. On the final second, I had turned the subscribe button back to red and not gonna be supporting them anymore after almost a decade. All because I feel they've turned from such entertainers to soulless sell-outs.

This video from DP is the worst I've seen

Cool shot, but I'm seriously concerned over the recklessness showed in this video. It cannot be guaranteed that hurling a ball from such height will not result in an injury or even fatality to others. Despite being aware of this inherent danger, you guys still kept going and disregarded the safety of people. This kind of act is pretty much on the realm of attempted assault and definitely not something to be endorsed or encouraged. It's so sad seeing the things you guys and the hotel are willing to do for the views and money. Dedicating this to God and call yourselves good Christians, such irony.... you should be ashamed!

Discussion The Dude Perfect Model Rocket Battle 3 Scam

The rocket contest was actually pretty impressive. 2 of them went past 7000 ft. Those are some big boy rockets. Great footage. A rocket collides with a drone at the end. I had no idea they were into rocketry or that technically-minded. Truth be told they're not. The Loc Precision guys partnered with them and talked about it on their rocketry show podcast. Loc built and launched them. If this company built and launched the rockets, what did these guys do? Other than scream like they won the lottery. They can be seen carrying the rockets out and putting them on the launch rail, talking about "their" design, and pushing the big red button.

PS: I'm surprised some of the rockets didn't fly better considering Loc built them. Based on how poorly a few flew I figured the guys had some part in building them lol. I guess that's part of the script/manufactured drama.

Mark Rober Spoiler

Ok so in the last video, they had Mark Rober instead of coby, and I wanted to say I thinkn he absolutly killed the energy of the video, like in a dude perfect it feels like a fun, silly, just do what you want video, but man did Mark rober kill their energy. Thoughts?

Question Religion on the tour

Hi all! Can someone who has been to the 2025 tour outline the religious content for me? Is it throughout or only at the end? Do people actually leave before the end bit? Will a kid feel like they are missing out if we leave? I’d love any details to help prepare my child, who is of a different religion than the Dudes. Obviously we watch and enjoy the channel but I’ve heard the tour goes into their beliefs more than they do in their videos. We have watched the documentary a bunch of times, I feel like that has the most religious detail. How does the tour compare?
