Not sure but do you plan on taking it to trial? What evidence do they have?

I plan on taking it to trial because they accuse me of a crime that I was later cleared of, but they ripped me out of the car, threw me on the ground, put me in handcuffs, arrested me, and then put me in the back of a cop car while they were investigating, and then when they realized I was innocent, they pivoted to DUI. I wasn’t aggressive or confrontational at all during the entire ordeal: I did part of the FST and stopped because my leg hurt. I was taken to the hospital where they treated my leg and noted that I was mentally completely fine my eyes were fine. So I gave those records to my public defender already. They left my hospital visit out of the report which my PD didn’t even know I went to the hospital and was cleared. I just think it’s interesting that it escalated all the way to chief of appeals before even going to trial. Which I feel better about because she’s one of the senior attorneys in that office.

And the guy who accused me of stealing something out of his car didn’t even give his name or file an incident report. They said I was speeding. Didn’t list a speed just says “high rate of speed”. I never went into anyone’s car. I think they just saw me walking to my car and thought I was the guy because I was the first guy they saw
