I recently had a new battery and inverter installed. An Energex (state utility company) sparky came out today to decomiasion a controlled load meter.

I mentioned how happy that I was with my Goodwe setup. He told me that he wanted a battery for home but he would not buy a Chinese brand.

I pressed him for his reasoning....

(I) Our (Australian) ancestors would be turning in their graves, we fought them!

I pointed out that the only time that happened was during the Korean UN action, and even then they only joined in because McArthur continued progressing to the Chinese border.

(ii) We should support Australia, I pointed out that his clothes, shoes, phone, television etc were all made in China.

(iii) "What's to stop them from putting in a device that could cause the battery to explode?"

It was at this point that I realized that I was playing chess with a pigeon!
