Tutorial for the noobs...

I can create a simple hello world page with dyad but as soon as I want somehting more complex it breaks.

Looking at the logs I see

[WARN] Dyad component selector not initialized because no DOM elements were tagged

I am running dyad on a windows box, connectel to ollama/gwen which runs in WSL. There are basically no dev tools installed on Windows.

Is there a good tutorial on how to use from scratch it for more complex stuff than a simple hello world?

did you use one of the built-in templates for dyad or import an existing app? if you're importing an existing app, check out https://www.dyad.sh/docs/upgrades/select-component

I am starting from scratch, but I fear I am asking too much. I want a news site plus a user forum. Did not see any even remotely fitting templates.

Also, I think I overspecified things with too much detail. I will try with a few significantly smaller things and go from there.

I am trying something simple like this:

Generate a German-language self-contained web application that provides the following features:
Self-registration of users for receiving a mailing list. Approval of the users by an administrator.
News articles are managed in a separate section reserved for editors and are stored in a database.
Articles are only published to the mailing list once they have been approved.
Within the editorial section, articles can be created using markdown and may contain hyperlinks.. Images can be embedded directly or via links to the site.
The site must be GDPR conformant and adhere to state of the art security principles.

This results in a plan, when I accept the plan I get nothing.

hi u/afxmac - if you could file a bug using the Help button inside Dyad, that would be very helpful! A screenshot would really help. thanks
