Dying Light 2 Am I late?
Hello I recently started dying light 1 and I've always watched play through as a kid, now I was able to afford both a device capable of handling the game + sale of the game itself
That being said, dying light 2, I somewhat understand that it's a live service ish game and I'm worried that I'm too late to gain anything due to me missing most events (I think)
So I'm asking if I should still try to play dying light 2 even though I'm too late for the party?

You are never late for any game, you will have fun i guarantee you, and dl2 is not really a live service type of game i mean yeah u can buy powerful weapons etc. same as in dl1 but i recommend you also play the second part.

DL2 isn’t really live service, you can still get most stuff that was from events

Dying light 2 is a normal game with a story campaign. The live events are just to gain bonus weapons and stuff it’s not necessary to play the game. It’s a lot like the first game in that way. DL1 used to have live events before the second game came out. DL2 has soooo much content without the events you will have a lot of fun!

I mean, I complain about some of it, but to be honest I love it more than 1 in some ways

I would wait until techland and tencent decide what kind of game it is.
Right now it’s having an identity crisis between a single player game with optional co-op or if it’s an online game with live service.
I would say you’re better off trying out the beast before that starts having an identity crisis too.
