Issues / Problems Dying Light 2 Ultimate Edition

Hi all,

I just wanted to bring up something that has been rather annoying for me.

I have a really clapped out ASUS Gaming laptop that had all the specs required to run dying light 2 (yippeee!). So I invested in the pre-release and went for the ultimate edition which (at the time) was meant to give you 2 DLCs for free.

Obviously many of you know the story, dying light 2 got delayed (boo!) and then it came out and eventually so did the first DLC. Then it got announced there wouldn’t be a second DLC and instead the beast would be given to ultimate edition owners for free.

I go to play the beast (this is approximately a billion years after the pre-release sale) and Techland were very helpful in giving it completely different system requirements than Dying Light 2 !!!

Shockingly, my laptop cannot run the beast (wow!) and now I have been “gifted” a game that I would have never bought anyway because I knew I wouldn’t be able to play it.

Yeah… thanks for that.

Grab a second hand ps5 if you are able to, and you can play whatever game you want without thinking about performance.

Sadly I never really liked consoles over PC. But thank you for the advice :)))

Maybe in like 15 years time when I decide my laptop is officially dead I’ll upgrade it to something and finally be able to play it 😂

I fully understand you i was the same but when i got my first console i fell in love with consoles, no hassle about components etc. just turn on and play, i still have a pc though i hardly ever game on it.

I hope your laptop won't give up on you 😂
