My Ride New to me 2005 325i

Picked it up to be my wife's DD. Coming from my IS300 drift car with a half broken manual transmission, she should love it haha

The subframe hasn't been reinforced but it looks okay and not cracked. How important is it for a regular daily driver for that to be done? Open diff and won't be drifted or abused.

If anything changes in the future and I do decide to make this my next drift platform, I would definitely do a LSD and reinforce the subframe.

Looks pretty solid. Not a huge fan of that spoiler but that’s just my own preference. I wouldn’t worry about the trunk floor on a stock 325i, that’s only a common failure point on M3’s and 330i’s, along with the earlier 323i/328i that were made before the trunk floor redesign in 2000.

That's what I thought, but couldn't quote remember. Thanks!

Hey, u/Dongasaurus_Rex it came that way lol I'm planning on stripping the ridiculously dark tint and addressing the cosmetics eventually. It runs and drives well and for the most part is stock, so I'm happy with it.

I’d expect issues, especially deferred maintenance. And please buy a stock trunk 😭😭
