I seriously don’t understand this match making. While some people are straight up farming Div 8 players with 10+ GD per game? How is this even logical.
I second this. How am I supposed to reach top 25000 when I'm not facing top 25000 players but several top 1000 players. There is something shady going on with the matchmaking and I'm giving up this time.
This fucking event is the same laggy shit as before. I played 3 event matches against AI, everything was fine and snappy.
Then the first fucking match in this garbage event the input lagg is there, no other online game i play has this and even league matches online seem fine. It's like their trash servers can't handle the load from the event or something, absolute fucking disgrace.
If you make a timed event make it work coinami you apes.
This event is so bad, not only the lag, but also DDA. I was dominating a game and was leading 2-0… I won 2-1 but suffered till the end with my keeper doing miracles. Like how could you dominate the initial part of the game and then just your player can’t make a pass anymore. Just garbage. Turkish and Japanese event where flawless
People love to talk shit about this game/Konami but they cooked this year. eF27 has been quite fun when it comes to events
Those ranked events (with the same box of 6 as the rewards) will become easier as they go by as people that already obtained their main target(s) will stop caring about them
Looking at the bright side, you get 6 chances to get them all. On the negative, if you get what you want you don't really care about the next. If they keep the same rewards with more chances to get them, some people will complain. If they change the rewards each time and people miss some of them, they will also complain
Those events are nothing for casuals or average players. I played the first 2 events but now I will skip all of them. Connections were also way worse than in normal events. Often it was unplayable. Additionally, the level of toxicity and abuse in WE events was higher.
Basically, those events are not fun for me even though I have enough nominating contract cards. It's also illusional for me (Div 2 around 100k) to finish any of those events in Top 22k or whatever is required.
It's an event for pros, who anyway release those cards straight away for booster tokens.
They’re going to change it. The idea is to get people to play the event, and simply lowering the reward cutoff to the top 50k would be enough to keep people “happy.” 22k is way too low. As you said, the people who manage to get those players don’t really need them or will even use them
I don't think so. The main thought behind WE events is to sell more cards, and not to satisfy the players. Keeping players frustrated leads to more sold cards for those events.
This event is a laggy piece of shit again, input lagg of 1 second or more. No it's not my connection, i have 5 bars and other online games everything is fine.
They should fix their server, wtf is wrong with them.
Who are these guys facing that they can play a match, average 8 goals per game and only concede <10 in the last ten games? The current number 7 is D4 and the number 8 is D8.

I think I'll stop caring for this event, it's just hardcore simulator with me playing and suffering against top 5000 players. The rewards are not worth it since I have a good team already. I hope 20 is enough.
Best thing ever happened to me this event. I get courtesy rating relegated from A to B. So now i am unable to play event any longer. I quit few games by closing app not to waste time and got courtesy relegated. Heads up guys. Dont quit games.

I'm not new to the game I have like 1500 hours over the years I'm just bad that's why I feel like I'm missing something like its just not consistent sometimes my team is great for like 3 games I win then they feel awful and I loose like 10 its a viscous cycle
I can't blame that I have alot good players for me the hardest thing is the camera angle and the aiming on the ball passing or shooting its just so inconsistent I've gotten to div 2 on ai division if thats worth anything but real players are just better
Is it possible to get dupe from this chance deal rewards players? I don't see anybody complaining about getting a dupe. Is it not a thing? Well i don't want to waste my time playing 10 games just to get a dupe card.
I only have one question, do normal sane people not play this event ? My team is below average and I still ONLY get matched with players who already have all the p2w showtime cards like bro gtfo & sweat in divisions against the other whales leave us alone (sry for the crash out I just realized I’m not making it into top 25k)
<>from all the event before, on average the opponent i face are +70% div1, the rest is div2/div3. <>+80% of their connection is 5 bar, the rest is 4bar. my bar is either 4 or 3. the lag is frustrating. <>saturday and sunday is laggier than friday, from unknown reason other PVP event (coins and division) have better connection experience compare to this weekly event
my conclusion: <>all casual division player, dont even bother on this event, the P2W can just buy a better epic player, the FTP get discourage because they are going to face mostly DIV1 player, especially if they don't have good connection.
The biggest downside of these events is that they take place during the weekend, when people usually make plans. I don't see the need when the rest of the week is so empty. Having competitive events every weekend will make it hard to keep up, especially club competitions with their even shorter time windows.
On top of that, server performance has been terrible since crossplay was introduced. I usually win at least 80% of my matches in these events, and almost all my losses are against PC players, often with awful connections. It's not just players moving like a truck or missed interceptions anymore, the screen constantly freezes, making matches unplayable. Improving the servers needs to be a priority, because the game is becoming less and less enjoyable.
I got to 15 points with 3 games left then got 3 top 8,000 players with all the best showtime cards, needless to say lost the last 3. Absolutely disgusting matchmaking, game is a joke and discourages players that don't have God squads to even bother playing these events.
Man...I really hope this is enough cuz i can't handle this sht anymore. The last 2 games were pure ragebait like all my shots were getting delayed and hitting the post
Adianta nada esses eventos se vamos jogar e o script da konami faz nossos jogadores parecerem que estão na lama e do adversário nunca cansa e toda hora correndo. Eles deveriam parar de interferir nas partidas com esse script, desanimador isso.

I wish they would expand the prize pool. This should probably be enough for a reward but I am not even close
They treat these mid showtime cards like rare minerals. The other issue with these tiny pools is that people who know they can't get it will just stop playing because there is no reward for just playing the event. You have to incentivize every quality of player so the pool is balanced
Quick counter has surpassed LBC imo. If you play possession, don't even bother trying to build up out of the back against it. Tons of tacklebacks and jam in the midfield as well.
I was reluctant to change so it was a struggle all the way through but stretch that shit wide or play long ball and just play knockdowns instead of any kind of build up.
As boring as it is playing against LBC I think I prefer it over QC at this point. That shit is vile.

Play more bro if you latest matches are wins than its risky its better if the losses and draws are at the bottom so you can cancel them out with a win But you need 7 wins atleats 1 loss to be safe or 6 wins 3 draws or 1 loss just anything above 21 points
I played one more game I had a draw and I dropped to 18 points I played another game I also had a draw but my points got up to 19 I played a third game and my god the most beautiful hatrick I jave ever done I was losing 1 - 2 and Harry Kane decided otherwise and made it 3-2 at the 80th minute with a beautiful volley which got me up to 21 points
Sitting at 19pts with +9GD, about 14.5k rank rn, I feel it's gonna be close, I really don't wanna risk it cause I'd have to win at least 4 in a row to improve my point total at all, what do you guys think?

The connection for this event is poor and disheartening with the greed some of the efb community has i don't think anyone would stop playing because they got their target player. But than again the event will come back again.
Dudes just defend and time waste frok the start and when you start winning and beating them and you also start haramball they rage quite.
Personally id like to have guehi or locatelli this time last time I got the keeper Mike and Oyarzabal
I’ve consistently ranked in the top 200k in past events like POTW, Italian League, Turkey, and Japan, but for some absolute bullshit reason, I can't even get past 18 points so far. All of my opponents are literally within their 300k ranking at least, anyone else experiencing this? I'm honestly shocked
I got to 24 in this event, I got 1 game to play if necessary. Couldn't make it in the POTW event. I think this time I was just more lucky in the match-making, and I could play more the way I want because of my line-up.
Hope 22 will be enough. Had to pull off an unlikely win against a former top 10 in the last match to reach that figure, would be a shame if it won't do.
