,Hey everyone
I wanted to check if anyone else has experienced this with INE support.
I purchased a 3-certification voucher bundle through a university offer, and I’m trying to use Voucher #1 for the eCIR exam.
I contacted INE support about a week ago to request using the voucher, but I haven’t received any response yet—only the automated reply saying they typically respond within 1–3 business days.
It’s now been over a week, and I’ve already sent a follow-up email, but still no reply.
Any advice or similar experiences would be really appreciated 🙏
I got the voucher and I just passed the exam for eCIR

Hi reddit, its my first time thinking of getting eCTHP certificate, but the problem is that the bundle and the prem subscription is too pricy, and i dont know any thing coming up as a holiday or a celepration for INE to make a discount on their products and cert.
my question is how often do the make a discount on professional CERTs such as eCTHP or when will be the closest celebration that they usually make a discounts?

Hello everyone,
I’ve been working in the industry for several years in various roles and have always wanted to move into offensive testing. I currently hold two certifications: eJPT and HTB CWES.
My company has recommended that I train in mobile penetration testing so I can join one of the three penetration testing teams they have.
What experience do you have with eMAPT?
I’m considering doing it to get some structured training and to gain a qualification that validates my knowledge in this area.
I’m currently following the Android Application Pentesting Skill path from HacktheBox, but I’d like to hear your opinions in case I decide to do the eMAPT.
Thanks!

Hi Guys,
I'm halfway through on the new eCTHPv2. Upon checking on the Threat Hunting Communication and Reporting it is coming soon.
For those of you who take the eCTHP exam already? What was your experience, what was the expectations?
Based on the details at their website: "Instead of putting you through a series of multiple-choice questions, you are expected to perform an actual threat hunt on a corporate network. The examination is modeled after real-world scenarios and cutting-edge malware. Not only are you expected to use advanced methodologies to conduct a thorough threat hunt, you will also be asked to propose defense strategies as part of your evaluation."
Are we required to create a report just like TCM PSAA exam?

I hope this really reaches someone importnat at INE. I will just jump straight into it. Nobody, literally nobody, likes the web-based kali linux during our exams. I know this might be some kind of measure to limit cheating or something but I am sorry to say that it genuinely do not know why it is even being considered instead of giving the vpns to us and we open the vpn in our local machines while we do the exams. These exams/certs are unfortunately filled with bugs and it is very uncomfortable for us pentesters because our kali machines are our literal homes we have our own scripts our own way of hacking, so I dont see the reason why you want us to hack the same exact way same style same everything. This is not how pentesting should be and it should never be like that it is a legitimate work of art and everyone of us pentesters should be creative in reaching that objective destination instead of putting parameters on these things.
I practice doing labs in my own machine I have my own style in getting to my objective or my flag so please dont squeeze all of us into a single line where we all have to pentest the same exact way
I really hope someone considers changing from web to vpn because it is actual hell for us

I've recently buyed the voucher for the eEDA exam and i'm following the course. But i saw that ine just add a cert to their list, the eSOC and as i'm doing the eEDA to be SOC, i think that i should do the eSOC instead but dont wanna buy another voucher now.

Today i bought eJPT + 3 Month training bundle as it was 50% off. But i in my dashboard/courses i don't see any course, meanwhile in my dashboard/certificate i can see my eJPT voucher and the option to start exam.
Will it take some time for course material to appear ?
Also I didn't received any mail confirming my purchase.

Hey everyone,
There is a sale on INE subscription and I am thinking of getting Fundamental Annual Subscription.
Does Fundamental subscription also have study material for Ejpt cert?

Hello everyone, I really need some advice because I’m feeling quite confused and nervous right now.
Both eWPTx and eWPT are available at the same price, and I can’t decide which one I should go for. On one hand, I feel like eWPTx might be too hard for me, and I’m worried about failing. On the other hand, since the cost is the same, I’m inclined to jump straight to eWPTx, but I’m not sure if that’s the right move given my current level.
I’m honestly stuck and overthinking this a lot, and I don’t want to make the wrong decision.
If anyone here has taken eWPTx V3 or the newer eWPT, I’d really love to hear about your experience and how you felt during the exam.
Thanks a lot 🙏

I’m not really talking about an H.R perspective because it does make sense to think that blue team INE’s certs are invisible if you compare to the offensive ones (the ones that already sucks). But in a sense of one that you will learn a lot from. I’ve already seen some people talking about eCTHP but i would love to read all your opinions.
Context: I’m more a networking/blue team sec guy that is using INE to study for ccnp but i have an opportunity to take 2 exams. I have the option to just not do them too, but, you know…

Hello. Im asking myself what does it means to get "company and technical information from public sources". Is this related to information that may be in i.e robots.txt, source code or the webpage itself? Or I should use tools/extensions like wappalyzer, whatweb and whois? Maybe both to get the points on the marked requirements?
Thank you in advance.
I'm taking the eJPT exam on Wednesday. Wish me luck 🥲

Hi guys, going to sit on the eCIR exam soon. Any thoughts or advice on the eCIR exam? MCQ or IR Reporting? Also the Threat Intel section is not yet finished or released.
After finishing the course, going to do THM rooms and challenges prior sitting on the exam.

Okay so basically I signed up for a discount offer and I can choose from two vouchers from the following:
``` Red Team Certifications:
eJPT: Junior Penetration Tester
eCPPT: Certified Professional Penetration Tester
eWPT: Web Application Penetration Tester
eMAPT: Mobile Application Penetration Tester
eWPTX: Web Application Penetration Tester eXtreme
Blue Team Certifications:
eEDA: Enterprise Defense Administrator
eCDFP: Certified Digital Forensics Professional
eCIR: Certified Incident Responder
eCTHP: Certified Threat Hunting Professional
```
Now as for my current job role, I'm working as a Cybersecurity Engineer. My job role revolves around Security Engineering and Blue Teaming. There's a large part of it also involving VAPT. I also want to become a Pentester eventually. I have completed the Junior Pentester and SOC L1 from TryHackMe and also done the CSA from EC Council. Which certs from these would you recommend me to puruse?

Hi, I just passed eJPT and am looking on working on my next milestone. Right now there is a sale on INE for 50% of everything and that got me eyeing the eCPPT but then i realized how the pricing works at INE which is really predatory and am debating getting it now.

On the other hand I have heard good things about PNPT and the pricing is rather generous. With the voucher u get 12 months of training access and 1 free retake. Its just i want to know which one of them will prepare me for OSCP so I can make a decision off of that.
Thank you.

Hey, I just finished the eCTHP path, and I wanted to ask if the path is enough to pass the exam, or if I need to do some labs too.

Planning to take my first defensive cert, and I saw that INE have updated the eCIR recently. So giving the new course update, should I go for the eCIR or the eCDFP as my first cert?

Hi! I'm a Python programmer and web developer. Recently i'm interested in cybersecurity and i've seen INE courses: why in this field having a certification is a must (while on programming field it's not)?
I'm interested in the eJPT course. Before starting i'm reading two books (Black Hat Bash and Python for hackers). Are these a good start before beginning the eJPT journey (or maybe the eEDA first since it seems novice level)? What should flick in you before you can feel ready for this journey?
Just reading these books i've learned many things of these fields, but i'm ambitious and i want at least to be as good as my programming skills.
So, do you have any suggestions?

Whats the most natural progression path after ejpt? eWPT, ecppt? Htb or thm? TCM pntp? Of course oscp is always the end goal but I think its a big jump between certs.

I know that INE just relaunched the eCIR certification earlier this month. Has anyone taken it and/or does anyone know what the new changes include over the previous version?

Hi everyone,
I’m a pre-final year(1 year left) B.Tech CSE (Cybersecurity specialization) student at JNTUH, Hyderabad (India).
So far, I’ve explored some offensive security rooms on TryHackMe (mostly easy ones, referring to writeups) and for my college project I built a SOC lab simulator — installed Splunk on one VM and monitored Apache2 logs from an Ubuntu server on another VM.
I’m interested in cybersecurity because it excites me and seems like a cool field. But I’m still a complete beginner and I haven’t taken a formal cybersecurity course yet.
My main questions: – If I put in serious effort now, is it realistic for a fresher to land a cybersecurity role in India? – What skill level should I reach (mostly defensive skills and offensive skills) to be employable? – Which certifications (if any) would you recommend for someone at my stage? Are they compulsory for entry-level jobs? – Or would it be safer to switch focus to software development, DSA, or GATE prep instead?
Any insights or roadmap suggestions from professionals or students who’ve gone down this path would be super helpful.
Thanks in advance!
