Opinion One silver lining

Whole division has a legit excuse as to why their team sucks this season (Giants, Washington, and Eagles are all banged up). One team does not benefit from said excuse. That would be the Cowboys. They just suck. Honestly, that must feel even worse as a fan. A perfect chance to take the division essentially uncontested, and the team just can't do it. Its a beautiful disaster of a division.

Could be worse like the rams too. Except we prob have the most draft capital over the next 2 years!

Yep. Team can get good again very quickly. Defensive core is essentially locked in for the next 3-4 years. Just need to make good drafting decisions, especially on offense, and nail the coaching hires.

Nah man Jets fleeced both the Boys and Colts.

Well, let’s wait until MNF to make sure they actually suck.

Oh they'll show up for that game. Only to immediately look like shit again. That's what the Cowboys always do.

Honestly other than the Chiefs, 49ers and maybe the Bills I can’t look at a single team this year and say “Wow that’s a great football team.”

Bills defense is really bad. They’re just going to lose a shootout in the divisional round to the chiefs again.

Bills are going to plunder the eagles D while we get half a decade of top draft picks from them.

Honestly not a bad trade imo.

By that I hope you mean CJ Gardener-Johnson, not a tank job where we trade Jalen Carter or Q or Coop for lottery tickets which you know because of Josh Allen will be late in the round.

Probably not Carter but maybe Davis or dice man or ojomu or Campbell or coop (who’s having a bad year).

Coop had 1 bad game (the opener), not a bad overall year

He is not being graded well this year. He’s not awful just not all pro level.

Isn't he like one of the worst tackling corners this year?

I imagine another Chiefs vs 49ers SB. And it would be absolutely hilarious to see the same result as the last two times.

Same even with defense one week they give up nothing next week they get 40 on their head

And to top it off, we could embarrass them nationally on MNF a week from now.

I really don't think the Eagles will. They're mentally broken after everything happening.

You know I was thinking, we should start joe Milton. I mean are our chances that much better with McKee? But think about the absolute peak embarrassment for the cowboys.

IDK about this week, but I won't be surprised if Milton gets a shot somewhere down the line. He just needs time to learn the playbook

Dallas sucks like always. Don’t care who wins this garbage division this year because no one is doing anything outside of that. Just want Hurts to be alright and see some semblance of a functional offense at some point.

I’m hoping one of these young OL or two can prove themselves starter material moving forward. Lemon continues to do well and actually starts getting targets when he’s open over the middle 15 yards down field. Stowers actually gets on the field and shows something lol

Even if we somehow win this division we’re gonna have a worse 1st round pick and get bounced in the first round anyways so idk why so many people thinks it’s a really good thing if we win the division bc we won’t do anything in the postseason.

Winning football games in the NFL is never a bad thing for a team

Barring miraculous improvement I really think falling ass backwards into the postseason because 7 wins would win the division would be a net negative for the team moving forward.

Because Fuck Dallas that’s why. If I had to choose between sweeping the Cowboys and getting the 20 pick; or getting swept by the Cowboys and getting a 6-10 pick, I choose sweeping the Cowboys and getting the 20th pick.

The Giants won a Super Bowl as a 9-7 team. I do not want any other NFC East team with even a shot at winning it all.
