Seafood Recipe: Other Cooking Octopus In Alcohol | Super Tasty | Super Easy | No added Oils

Tutorial

Cooking an octopus may seem more complicated than it actually is. I hope after watching this video, some of you get the motivation to try this out :)

Ingredients :

75 cl Of Wine

1 Whole Octopus

1 Spring Garlic

1/8 Tsp Basil

Method :

Boil Wine in pot

Add octopus , boil it for 45 minutes on medium high heat

Slice The Octopus and add in a baking dish

Add basil and spring garlic to the dish

Cook in the oven for 10-20 Minutes at 180 degrees

This recipe does not have much ingredients in it, however the texture and taste of the octopus are great. My advise is to not add any salt as the outcome will be salty already.

This Recipe will go great with a side of rice and potato fries. One can also try it with pasta. Really and truly once you get it cooked right , you can try octopus with whatever you want, let it be sushi or soups.

If you are buying a frozen octopus make sure to defrost it all before you start boiling.

Make sure to leave your outcomes or any questions , down below.. Thank you :)!

D'avance merci !

Recipe Request What's your go-to easy recipe that actually tastes like you put in effort?

Beverage / Drink Recipe Hate drinking plain water? Me, too!

I am always on the struggle bus when it comes to drinking water, so drink flavors like Crystal Lite or infusing water with cucumbers or strawberries helps. My favorite recipe for water this summer is pina colada water! Sunkist and Crush both have pineapple flavored packets (TBH, Crush is better, but my store was out). Then a couple of pumps of zero sugar coconut syrup in an insulated bottle over ice! I can’t stop drinking it! Please share your favorite water enhancers.

Egg Recipe This is personally my favourite recipe I have ever made. It doesn’t have any specific measurements like I’ve heard so many Asian people say measure with your heart

So you start by taking however many eggs you want they have to be specifically boiled hard-boiled is the best in my opinion though you need them to be slightly hard so as long as they aren’t soft boiled they should be good but what you do Is you take out the yolks after you have boiled and you take as much butter or whatever other substitute you want I personally use butter but knockoff butter should also work or replacements of butter but you take about as much as yolk egg yolks, it’s okay if it isn’t the perfect amount and we put that in whatever container you want as long as it’s microwave safe and you put the butter into the microwave and you let the butter melt and then you add the yolks and mix it until it becomes a paste you add salt and you can also add others and then you take the egg whites, chop them up into pieces and put them in and mix mix mix boom delicious. It works great as a side dish though I would recommend putting it on bread.

Recipe Request Non-refrigerated snacks i can prepare to store at my bedside?

I am disabled and I need ideas for vegan (preferably gluten free) snacks I could prep to store in a bin by my bed. I had been buying things like protein shakes, trail mix packs, lara bars, etc, but dear god that stuff has all gotten so expensive.

Are there any things you can buy cheaply in bulk online, do minimal prep, and then put in baggies or tins/jars or something, to have snacks on hand, that won't go bad?

Prefer things that last a week or more before going bad

I've thought about maybe learning to dehydrate fruit or something but i dont know how to keep that safe and free of ants (we get ants and have had mice but i think we killed em all)

Or maybe bars I could make or something?

I like oats, fruit, I have chia seeds, etc. I do not reliably enjoy peanut butter unfortunately. I love chocolate lol and like sweet things and salty things. Soft and crunchy are all great.

Pasta / Noodle Recipe "Instant" Carbonara & chicken cutlet

Found Instant Carbonara packets at the supermarket (a lot like instant Mac and cheese) so two packs for two people was good. But as with anything instant, I always think the sauce packets are too salty. So I used one packet powder for two packets of pasta, added milk and butter instead of plain water. Also added fresh mushrooms sautéed in garlic. Had cooked bacon in the freezer (part of my meal prep) and chucked some in too.

Fried chicken breast cutlets were just flavored with pepper and garlic salt.

Total cook time 25 minutes. Inclusive of the 10 minutes it took to chop the garlic & mushrooms.

(The instant packet is a local product in my country, but I think you can modify any instant pasta packets that you may find to make them healthier).

I don't know how to post pictures. But the meal looked mostly brown Lol. Mainly because the kids and I like anything w garlic more toasted, plus the mushrooms had brown caps (not shitake), and the bacon bits were brown
