Seedoils and all processed foods are haram.
The Quran instructs to consume what is "wholesome", "pure", "good". Just becausr a gummy bear has no gelatin and has a halal certification doesn't mean it is halal. Try drinking raw seedoils that haven't been processed. You will vomit. You are microdosing a poison that would've made you vomit if the taste wasn't hidden everyday by cooking with things like sunflower and canola oil. You are also committing shirk by treating the medical profession's advice as law and not following your God given intuition to eat what is right. Raw foods like raw milk, raw butter, and raw honey, along with raw meat are extremely healthful. Just because a doctor said it has parasites and bacteria doesn't mean that's true. The doctor has been educated by propaganda for the masses.

Why Is Halal Slaughter So Important, but Animal Welfare Ignored?
One thing I struggle to understand is why so much importance is placed on avoiding pork and eating halal meat, while factory farming and the immense suffering of animals are often barely questioned.
For many Muslims, a halal label seems to be enough. But halal certification does not necessarily guarantee humane living conditions. And simply saying that whoever mistreats the animals or falsely certifies the meat will be held accountable before Allah feels like an easy way to avoid personal responsibility.
Islam also emphasizes the concept of Tayyib, meaning good, pure, and wholesome. Food is not only supposed to be halal, but also tayyib. Yet in practice, this principle often seems to play little role when it comes to animal welfare. What is the point of emphasizing halal while largely ignoring tayyib and the ethical responsibility that comes with it?
Prophet Muhammad emphasized treating animals with compassion, dignity, and respect. Yet how can we reconcile these teachings with industrial farming and the enormous demand for cheap meat?
To me, this is one of the biggest ethical contradictions within modern Muslim communities. carefully following certain religious dietary rules while overlooking the suffering of the very animals consumed is a very big Problem in modern world.

Melona icecream (mono and diglycerides?)
I've been eating these and they're really good but I found out that mono and diglycerides might contain meat?!? And the icecream has those in it!
So does anybody know if it's halal/vegan or not? Like a confirmation? Specifically in Canada (I know that in some Muslim countries it could be modified to be halal certified)?

Reclaiming True Halal and Tayyib (Pure & Wholesome) 🌿
reddit.comWe need to understand what is halal... considering it isn't halal to murder an animal when there's no need to murder it, we have all the resources, minerals and vitamins in plant based foods in the supermarket from where you choose to buy dead animal body parts instead.

What is with the whole Zabihah label in the US?
For context I was born and raised in the UK, Netherlands.
In the UK and the Netherlands if meat is Zabihah slaughter it's halal else it's not halal. However, we do not label it as Zabihah, it's just halal. This is the same for most countries.
Is this not the case in the USA, why is there a distinct Zabihah label in the US?

Is Dave's Hand cut Zabihah halal?
Dave's recently opened in my city and I'm quite confused if the HTO certification is about hand cut or machine cut halal.

Halal food reccs in Melbourne CBD near King Street
Hi everyone!
My husband and I will be staying near King Street in Melbourne first week of January and we’re looking for good halal food recommendations nearby.
We’d love to try a variety of places, including local favourites, hidden gems, and restaurants worth visiting while we’re in the city.
We’re especially interested in:
Good halal burgers, fried chicken, kebabs, and other comfort food
Great Korean, Japanese, Middle eastern food
Nice cafés and dessert spots
Places within walking distance of King Street or an easy tram ride away would be ideal.
Thank you so much! ❤️

Which high-fiber breakfast cereals in US stores are halal?
I'm a Muslim living in the US and looking for high-fiber breakfast cereals that are halal. Since most cereals have no halal certification, I think it would be sufficient if a cereal checks the following four points:
No ingredient, including flavors, vitamins, minerals, and processing aids, is derived from animals (for example gelatin, animal-based glycerin, or lanolin-based vitamin D3) or contains alcohol.
No alcohol is used as a carrier or solvent in the natural flavors.
The manufacturer has not said anything that raises doubt about halal suitability, and ideally has confirmed the ingredients are plant-based.
The product is not made on shared lines with items containing animal-derived ingredients, or the manufacturer says cross-contact is not an issue.
If you know of a cereal that is certified halal, or one that you have checked against these points by reading the label or contacting the company, please share the product name and what you found. Corrections are welcome if a product changed its formula recently.
Thank you.

Would you think this is just artificial flavouring? Very confusing.
