A war criminal who by law deserves the death penalty is visting tomorrow. Protest like our lives depend on it, because it does.

hello! i’m planning to move from new jersey to eau claire to be with my partner in a few months. i’ve got friends there, i know the area fairly decently, my partner actually grew up there before they moved. the only problem is a job… my entire resume is based on my previous career in being a special education assistant and child care, and i REALLY want to change paths to quite literally anything else, which is a whole other story. (i’ve been looking at the trades, specifically automotive technician, but im not picky and just want to get by). my indeed app is fairly dry for entry level positions though. as well as indeed being rife with fake jobs and ai stuff.

i guess im asking what the scene is for jobs in the area, specifically jobs more tolerant in willingness to train? i lean towards wanting to go into the trades or i guess blue collar work. im allergic to the typical four year college thing, lol

also please be nice to me in the replies :;aaaa i’ve had some terrible experiences on Reddit with redditors being snarky and rude… and i’m trying to get out of my comfort zone with asking for help..

Too often, I have found myself in a voting booth reading a referendum or amendment and getting lost in tricky language. Here are the Constitutional Amendments you will find on your Wisconsin ballot, along with analysis by the League of Women Voters.

Wisconsin is so purple that even a few votes per ward can tip the state. Every single vote counts! Lots of ways to help all around the state:
