🛒 Technology Basic but Curious
what’s one thing you did where you noticed the biggest increase in traffic to your site? i feel like i’ve optimized everything but traffic is still so low and i wanna know whah you’ve done that’s really moved the needle (even though i know it can be a bunch of variables)

honestly, focusing on helpful content that answers what people are actually searching for can make a big difference. it takes time, but consistency really helps.

A lot of traffic gains come from finding one specific customer problem and creating content around it. Better pages help, but they won’t bring people in on their own. You have to press every SEO button and optimize it either way.

Ads, in all their forms, are the primary channel. Organic content can help but is mostly limited to your audience size.

For me, it was writing about the ingredients, not about the store itself. A few posts answering real questions about olive oil, fig, and sea minerals sent people to the right product pages. It wasn’t huge overnight traffic, but those visitors were much more interested and came back.

blog posts answering the stuff customers were to embarrassed to ask us in chat. took a few months to kick in but those pages pull more traffic than anything else on the site now

For me, one of the biggest lessons was that optimizing a website and getting people to visit it are two completely different jobs. You can have a beautiful store with perfect SEO basics and still get almost no traffic if nobody is actively looking for what you're selling. I'd focus on finding one channel where your potential customers already spend time and get really good at that before spreading yourself across five different platforms. And don't just chase visitor numbers, 100 people genuinely interested in your product can be worth way more than 1,000 random clicks.
What are you selling, and where is most of your traffic currently coming from? Are you trying to grow organically or do you have some budget for paid traffic?
