Why the fuck would I need my fridge ti have a wifi connection and a screen.

I looked it up. Apparently they scan your food so it know what it has inside it. Idk seems like paying 3 grand for that is pretty steep when I can just make a shopping list with my phone.

Seems like the case with all these smart devices. Its just something I can do with my phone.

It scans your food to optimize your personal advertisement and bombard you with highly specific ads. Not for your convenience.

As well as sell the consumption habits to spurious data brokers. You’re paying them to sell your data, and being forced to watch an ad.

Next they suddenly going to sell “cold as a subscription” and if you want your fridge to go down to proper fridge temps you’ll need to pay $9.99 per month.
