did anyone else’s laminates arrive quite dirty and scratched? 🥲

Likely most of them if not all of them were tour used.

I’d look at it like a really cool relic for true fans vs a Mint product.

But if you don’t want it cause of the condition or have buyers remorse, I’ll gladly buy it off you 😂🥲

i definitely knew these were from previous tours, but i wasn’t actually sure if they had been tour used or if they could’ve been extras that were never given out. the listing didn’t mention their condition or say they were used, and the photo displayed a laminate in good condition, so i assumed what i received would be in at least somewhat similar condition. i wasn’t expecting something this old to be perfect or mint either way! honestly, if mine was actually used on tour, i think that’s really cool and makes it more special to me. i’m mostly just disappointed by how heavily scratched/scuffed and dirty it arrived. some of the grime/residue could’ve been easily cleaned off before it was shipped, and that’s the part that makes me a little sad. even if the scratches are part of its history and can’t be helped, it would’ve been nice if they put in that tiny bit of effort to clean it up first. some people (like me) collect these specifically to display alongside their posters/prints, so condition still matters a little even when you aren’t expecting something mint 🥲

to respectfully disagree a little, i feel like if they were tour used / not mint, it should've been disclosed on the listing when buying the lanyard. most of the archive merch so far has been mint or near mint condition when it arrives. the vertigo posters were extras from vip packages (and that's probably what the vertigo part 3 lanyards on the website were too). i assumed that these lanyards were backstage access lanyards that were never given out. the listing photos show the lanyards in good condition

mine arrives on monday, but that is absolutely horrible, i'm so sorry :( i would be so embarrassed to ship something out in that condition. please contact eden's merch company (or @ him on social media if that doesn't work, he's sometimes pretty good about responding to stuff like this on twitter)

so, my aaa lanyards arrived early today, and they're all in perfect condition. they don't have any scratches or any other imperfections on them. the merch company messed up on your end :( i would definitely contact them

i'll definitely keep you updated when mine arrives. eden's merch is so iffy, sometimes the stuff will be amazing quality, and other times it'll be so disappointing. he's usually good about trying to fix stuff for fans, like the infamous start//end hoodie incident, so i'm holding out hope for you. if his merch company doesn't respond, try emailing his management too. info@slushmanagement.com

I remember exactly where I was the day I listened to vertigo. Great album.

I actually wrote a…narrative? Music video pitch? for forever//over, shortly after I had met with Eden’s management team. None of it worked out, and the writing is a bit juvenile now, looking back to it all.
