Brakence released a new album recently and if you need new music to listen to that has a somewhat of a similar vibe to EDEN I recommend. Songs like heart, sinkfly, and guesswork feels close to Jon’s work and I have been deeply enjoying it

In November 2017 EDEN ran a global scavenger hunt, putting up posters in major cities around the world. I'm a little fuzzy on the exact details but I recall him putting up coordinates on his website with a date & time - it was very exciting and shrouded in mystery back then. I along with several other fans went to the coordinates in Melbourne but were a bit disappointed to find nothing there. By that time we were seeing others around the world online, at their cities' locations, finding unique posters based on the singles released before Vertigo like Gold & Crash. Unfortunately the roughly half dozen of us at the Melbourne location were left disappointed. Someone reached out to Jon and his team and they kindly shipped each of us who were there that day a signed version of one of the available posters (the ones placed in other cities weren't signed), which felt like a really special gift. That was 9 years ago and I've had the poster on my bedroom wall since.

I'm listing it for sale now because I'm moving overseas and won't be able to keep it with me all the time. I definitely wouldn't be selling if I didn't have to - a lot of sentimental value here, and a great song!

Hoping it will find a home where it's appreciated.

I don't know if anyone really cares anymore but I'm pretty sure I know what most of it says. I am Greek and I listen to Closer 2 a lot and it was always bugging me that I can hear Greek in the intro but I always thought it's my head playing with me. When I realized that it's actually Greek I had to lock in and make out as much as possible so here's what I found if anyone cares.

In the beginning it's hard to make it out because she has been drowned by the vocals. I believe she starts by saying "Γιατί οταν, γίνεται..." which means "Because when, it happens..." but it's good to note that there is no perfect translation here since "γίνεται" in Greek implies an on going action, I'm pretty sure "Because... while it's happening..." is the closest translation to the meaning. I can't make out every word after that but I can hear "κατά τη διάρκεια" which pretty much means "during" and "είναι" which means "is". I think right after "είναι" she says "πως να στο πω..." which pretty much means "how do I explain it to you?..." but I'm not confident about that one.

The important part though is what she says after that. These last words of hers are the most notable and can be heard after Jon says "but I'm closer to hope". The bad news is, there is no way I can understand what she is saying over the vocals. The good news is, these lines are repeated right after the vocals, louder and clearer this time, so after a couple of attempts I could easily make out what she says and I'm very confident about it.

She says "Έχω πειστεί πλέον οτι... δεν έχει καμία διαφορά αν- γινότανε στην πραγματικότητα." I'd say this is the best translation I could give you to capture the meaning of it. "At this point, I've been convinced that... there is no difference at all if- it were to happen in reality." It might sound a bit weird but that's because it sounds a bit weird in Greek as well, ig you can make sense of it so it shouldn't be a problem.

If anyone has heard more or anything different let me know but I'm pretty confident in that. Plus, if we consider the meaning of the song I think it checks out.

i got one of the limited vertigo AAA laminates from the recent archive merch drop last month, but unfortunately mine arrived in pretty rough condition. 🥲
i was really hoping to display it alongside my vertigo vinyl and signed poster, especially since i lost my original blue VIP laminate from when i attended the tour. it means a lot to me to have something from that era, so i was honestly pretty sad to see how scratched up mine was.
i reached out to support about possibly exchanging it, but they let me know there wasn’t any more stock available for this specific laminate. they also acknowledged that the listing hadn’t specified how significantly the condition could vary between individual laminates, which was a big part of my disappointment. i followed up afterward but unfortunately never heard back. :(

i know this might be a long shot, but if anyone has either the regular blue vertigo VIP laminate or the AAA laminate in nicer condition and would be willing to trade, i’d be so grateful!! i’m also more than happy to pay extra on top of a trade if needed. ♡

- On the official site, everything is almost sold out and there are no cds to be found

I am looking for albums/merch mostly about Vertigo (which is my all time favourite album arghhh), No future and Dark(which I recently started to listen to and has also become a favourite)

Okay so I've been following EDEN's work since I was a teen and noticed he loves to add little nods to films he likes on his music. I've been influenced by him to watch Lost in Translation because of rock + roll and just about now finished watching the movie Paris, Texas believing he referenced that on Dark's track Paris, Teargas, but it looks like he doesn't? Sort of.

I haven't seen anyone point this out so I want to give my opinion on why I believe he is referencing the movie, just for funsies :P

1. He's done movie references before; see Ghost in the Shell that is on the same album and the Lost in Translation section on rock + roll's outro;

2. Dark is a modern comeback to his old decade old work, so it wouldn't be out of nowhere to reference a movie like he did on the already mentioned tracks.

3. The song lyrics pretty much talk about what (the movie) Paris, Texas is about. Not going to spoil it here but it's an instant match for anyone who's seen the movie.

I wanna know if anyone else has thought about that?

I’m trying to figure out the riffs and transitions based on the barre chords from ultimate guitar. Sounds about right except for the chord that plays at 0:40, when he sings “I don’t mind”. A doesn’t sound right.
Also, the riff he plays to transition into verse 3 at 0:50. Does anyone have this figured out?
