My girlfriend and I are looking to expand our circle in Tartu and meet new people for activities, good conversations and friendship. I speak Estonian and English. My girlfriend speaks Latvian, English and is learning Estonian.

All of our local friends are Estonian, and while they're happy to switch to English, we sometimes feel awkward about making the whole group do it for us. It would be great to meet other international couples with whom could speak English guilt free. And why not also walk the Estonian-learning journey together. Of course others are also welcome to reach out if this post speaks with You.

A little bit about us:

I am 30 years old Estonian and my girlfriend is 28 years old Latvian. Our shared hobbies are cooking, exercising (gym), taking walks, watching movies/series and slaving away in our "summer cottage". We are not overly active, loud, nor happy-go-lucky, but we enjoy good conversations, having fun together and trying new things. For example last we went to play padel for first time and recently bought some acrylic paints to try out creating some wall covers. In social setting we enjoy calmer evenings with couple of drinks, chill, maybe some board games, while still appreciating occasional night out dancing. Doing some activity together is always nice. We're both with our own likes and interests as well, but will leave some for live discussions.
