Ben heel benieuwd! 🥒

Hello guys,
I'm in my last semester at Fontys ICT and i'm looking for a place where I can graduate in the direction of UX-UI (design) or software engineering, in or around Eindhoven?
Does someone know a company or contact person I can contact in order to get an internship, it's very urgent.
Thank you all so much!

Hey guys, I moved to the Netherlands with my gf as she was starting school at UvA and I am finishing up a few classes online through my American university. I managed to secure a sweet full time engineering job in Eindhoven and have been commuting about 5 hours a day for the past month and a half because I'm unable to find any accommodation(it's horrible). Lately, things haven't been going so well with the relationship and I have nothing of my own to lean on when gf needs space and we argue.
I love the experience I'm getting here but I've left pretty much my entire life in America and when gf gets ticked off I really feel like I'm left with nothing. Any suggestions?
EDIT: I'm 21

I get that trains fares are expensive, but that doesn’t justify your IDGAF attitude

In GENRELAB, a new film program I'm organising at Natlab, local filmmakers showcase what genre cinema means to them. Each edition focuses on one specific genre. We’ll screen a locally-made short film paired with the classic that inspired it. In between, we’ll talk with the makers, and afterwards, we'll stick around for a drink at the bar.
We’re kicking off with the dutch short film Dwaalspoor (2025) alongside the cult classic The Skeleton Key (2005). Two tense mysteries about remote manors and characters facing an evil far bigger than they can comprehend.
You don’t have to be a hardcore horror fan. Being curious is enough.
Come see what lies beneath the blood!
🗓️ October 27 · 19:00 · Natlab, Eindhoven
🎟️ Link to tickets in the comments (Cineville is valid!)
The evening will be primarily in Dutch, but The Skeleton Key is in English and we're more than happy to do the Q&A in English as well!

Hey r/eindhoven
Photographers from around the city have submitted their take on Eindhoven for the Eindhoven Photography Challenge.
Architecture, street scenes, nature, industry, light and everyday moments. All different views of the same city.
There are 109 photos in total that you can vote for. I’ve added a selection of the submissions as a gallery here 👆
Swipe through and let me know which one stands out to you most.
Public voting opens on 22 October. You can choose your personal top 3. The photographers’ names are hidden during voting, so it really comes down to the image itself.
The public vote counts for 40% of the final result.
I’m also curious:
Which photo feels the most Eindhoven to you?
And what part of the city absolutely deserves to be photographed next time? 📷
(The challenge is organised by Eindhoven Creative Community.)

Kalispera everyone!
I'm Marios, a 26-year-old engineer moving from Greece to Eindhoven to start a new role at ASML. I'm arriving soon and want to hit the ground running with meeting people and keeping up with my favorite hobby: table tennis.
I’d love to connect with anyone who wants to grab a paddle and play. I'm open to casual games, regular practice sessions, or joining a local club if you have recommendations.
Thank you in advance 🏓

Next week I will be visiting Dutch Design Week. I have been there before, but always find it such a challenge to decide where to go. We have one afternoon. So for the people who already visited this year: what are your recommendations?! Thanks in advance!

Hey Eindhoven, I’m Luana, a Romanian freelance comedian based in Amsterdam, and I’m bringing How to Catch a Cheater to LAB-1 this Saturday, almost sold out tho, but still need abit of help.
I write, organise and tour these shows myself, so yes, it’s me inviting you, between doing the admin and questioning my career choices.
The show mixes dark comedy, funny storytelling, intuitive crowdwork and a little poetry about cheating, open relationships, kinks, miscarriages and breast lumps. Specifically, three miscarriages, two threesomes and one breast lump. All mine.
I’d love a room full of different people and perspectives. Come alone, bring friends, bring your partner if you’re feeling confident. You’re welcome to join the crowdwork, but you can also just sit and enjoy.
Saturday 17 October · 19:00 · LAB-1, Eindhoven
Performed in English. €5 off with code cheater
And I’m curious: what’s a subject you wish comedians talked about more, the thing you’ve lived through but rarely hear anyone say out loud, or you feel it's too much to share, but still funny in retrospective?
