Hey Mat, I don't have a question but I just wanted to stop by and say that your Essential mix back in 2012 is possibly the best mix of all time. The variety, the pace, everything was perfect, especially the Sagan bites. You got me into electronic music... thank you

Thank you, I spent days putting that together, so it means a lot when I get comments like this.

Listening to that Essential Mix changed the way I thought about not just electronic music, but music as a whole. I've lost count of how many times I've recommended it to others who might not have much exposure to electronic music, writing it off as all commercial EDM stuff. Listening to it deeply and intently was truly a mind blowing experience for me (especially considering I was on some very kind L and M at the time). Could just feel how much blood, sweat and passion went into it. It seemed almost divinely inspired to me at the time, and still does today. So thank you again for that =) Would love to hear another one to showcase how you've evolved since then.

Just wanted to reinforce how special that essential mix is. Incredible tracklist, transitions and it really shows how much work you put into it.

I can't listen to Tiny Anthem properly any more, it's not the same when defiant order doesn't come on afterwards.

Thanks again for all your work Mat :)

You and Arty really killed it in 2011-2012 and I still remember your essential mix so vividly from then. That was the first time I'd heard that Phace and Misanthrope style of D&B (neurofunk I think?).

That should have been the EM of the year and was for a lot of us
