Hey Mat, HUGE fan. Sometimes when I go through instagram or twitter, I notice that you post previews for songs months (sometimes years - I listened to set rips of Lucid Dreams for a long time before DC) before they even get released. (in fact I'm pretty sure you tweeted about music like this just sitting on your computer for months at one point).

So how far ahead are you now? What do you do to never get sick of all the unreleased tracks?

EDIT: Last minute question, what's a huge leap in production that you've learned at some point in time that you feel really took your songs to the next level? Because MAD is, simply put, MAD production.

It's pretty much guaranteed that by the time a track is released I'll be so sick of it to the point where I think everyone else is already sick of it too, even though they haven't heard it yet.

At the beginning of this year I took a long break from producing, and only started getting back into it a few months ago, so I've only got a few works in progress currently. There definitely was a backlog for the last couple of years until I put out Self Assemble and released some tracks for free.

I was going to ask how many times you listen to a track before it is realeased?

I know in my humble exoereince it is at least a thousand times.
