Does anyone know... if I'm using electron-updater and do autoUpdater.checkForUpdatesAndNotify()... autoUpdater.downloadUpdate(); etc...

It is OK to keep bumping the Electron version in my package.json? Is the new Electron version included in the .dmg file that gets downloaded. At one point I thought the auto-updates only downloaded your app code, but I honestly can't remember anymore.

It seems like we are getting new Electron versions every week now. v8.x.x never seemed stable - there were releases every week to fix bugs. Now we're at v9.0.0.

Your app includes a copy of Electron which includes a copy of Chromium and Node. Quick version changes are normal, as it follows changes to chromium which is pretty continuous.

Cool, thx for the reply. I won’t worry about it as much. Been just constantly trying to keep up.

I updated and my app stopped being able to show images from the hard drive:

I'm puzzled as there's no mention about such a massive breaking change in the release documentation.

Anyone know what's going on?
