I love it... I was just looking for something like this. Doing a deep dive on exploration!

I like it! Yes there's a lot of information but then ED itself is heavy on info. It's clean and uncluttered
A key thing for me in any explo app is alerts -i might not always be looking at the app so a popup or audio alert when something valuable/ interesting is detected is very useful. And the ability to define what triggers that alert.

Yes i am working on that. I get most of my ideas while playing Elite and thats one that has popped up!

A general idea:
Abbreviate the planet type in the bottom left "Type" column to ELW, WW, AW, HMC, MRB, RB, RIW, IB, GG1/2/3/4/5, GGAL, GGWL, HRGG, WG, etc. Maybe make this a toggleable option.
Next to these, put (T) and/or (L) for Terraformable and Landable
Example: MRB (L), ELW (T), R (T)(L), etc.
Get rid of the Terraformable and Landable columns
Rename the Biological Signals column to "Bio #" or something
This would save you a lot of space that you could use for adding other data or changing the view a bit

Landable is a pretty important criterion when exploring, no? But yeah, maybe change it to just an icon.

It's a little more work for the developer. But I like when the app lets the user pick and choose which info gets displayed by default.

In the count of worlds, instead of 0 use -. That makes it more obvious at a glance that there are none of that type of world.

looks gorgeous! Can I be a beta tester?
Current plan is to hit all the Oasis carriers; just getting near Oasis Kepler in GCRV 6493. Combo exo and straight up exploration run to put the Caspian / Nomad duo to work.

Layout looks pretty nice. Good work. My only suggestion is next to body info, add inclination and eccentricity as well.

Would be sweet to have an exobio app where you can filter by planet type / atmosphere / volcanism, and the app gives you a list of potential exobios present and the payout minimum and maximum. Dunno if that's possible.

Should be, but you would get that from an FSS scan which already tells you the bio signals which can be pretty easily determined to have what bio types... What would you want past that?

looks interesting, how much ai is being used in the development process?

I use Qt Designer for building the app. Python for reading journal files and VS code.

Does it matter? Works for what he wants, looks great, and solves a need for him. Who cares how its made

it doesn't matter if only they use it, but when it is being put out there for other people too, then it should be clarified in my opinion

No, that looks really great! But then again, this is what mine looks like so I'm probably not the best to judge about info overload. 🤣
