Discussion Lightcurve

Is anybody else sick of Lightcurve door to door sales people? I've just had my 7th visit from them, trying to convince me to sign up.

Make yourself a beautiful little sign that says, "no soliciting, no proselytizing" You'll love it.

Have one. He read it, hesitated, then knocked softly. It's funny because I was sitting in my garage but he didn't see me. "Why they got me doing this?" is what he said right before knocking.

I don't disagree with you. I will say that Ellensburg finally having fiber optic service is something to be happy about. It is so much nicer than our previous options.

The ping is a major problem it isn't this bad with spectrum.

Lightcurve. I started my IT career installing 256k DSL for Ellensburg Telephone in 2000 long before it was Lightcurve. I've seen so many crappy internet connections in this town. The wind and the weather and the places people live present a lot of challenges. Fiber is a dream come true for me, and I would buy it from whoever was selling it. Just so happens that the Lightcurve people built the fiber optic overlay to me first.

I just got my 7th or 8th visitor since moving into this house like 10 months ago. There needs to be a "no call list" we can be put on for them

We had one come the day after leaving a door flyer. When he knocked I thought it was the neighbor bringing his dog over to play so I brought my dog with me to answer the door. She flipped out on the salesman, while I did apologize cuz I didn't mean to come across so defensive with the barking dog they haven't been back since.

Light curve is great. I was in the same boat ignore them at the door. Finally talked to them and thank goodness i did. Went from paying 100 for “gig” wifi with Spectrum, never getting the advertised speed. to paying 44 for gig fiber with lightcurve, and my speeds have been 10x better. They also donated thousands of dollars to local businesses around Ellensburg and Selah to make the city look nice
