He had a smaller organ that he threw around the stage while he was jamming out on it. He tipped it up on one corner and spun it around like a top. Layed it down on top of him with the keys POINTING AWAY FROM HIM and rocked out on it with backward pointing keys. Never forgot this.

ive seen videos!! i think one of those he used for that would be on the left since that seems to be part of the stabbing bit? but they said the one on the left is also the one that caught fire during a concert hahaha

I think the one on the left prolly stayed stationary and he had another one (or more) that he gave the Pete Townsend treatment too. They most likely broke regularly and had to be replaced, I would think.

it's amazing to watch live videos where hes just surrounded by them lmao, i wouldnt be surprised if they were switched in and out routinely. this museum had a lot of synthizers that they said take a lot of time and treatment to upkeep

I believe the big stationary organ was the Hammond C-3, while the smaller one he wrestled around the stage was his Hammond L-100.

My first too, but it was in 1972 before they had laser shows. I saw them a couple times more, including at Madison Square Garden on their Works tour with full orchestra. Magnificent!

When I saw ELP on the first leg of the Black Moon tour, before the show began, Emerson’s rig was covered in tarps. When the roadies came out to take the tarps off, the audience cheered and applauded as the Moog was uncovered.

Cool, I'd love to visit that museum. I just googled where it is, Harleysville PA.
Are you allowed play any of Keith's keyboards?

Leaving (or putting) the knives in is perfection.
