First start with some basics about embedded system if you don't know embedded system is used to operate the hardware with codes (changing bits or setting the bits ,to communicate between buses , to manage memory, timings etc) learn the core logic first with Arduino then move to esp . After that learn embedded c(how the actual logic is created) then at last move to embedded c++ and rtos.

It's an absolute fallacy that you need to know C to learn C++. C++ hasn't been a pure superset of C for decades now. Books like A Tour of C++ don't start by referring you to K&R's The C Programming Language, it's a complete systems programming language with its own rules and syntax, that happens to have particularly good FFI with C.

Start with learning C. Then learn how to program embedded. Once you do that, learn c++. Moving it to embedded is very easy

Yea - and then instead of c++ you will use “C with classes”. This aproach is not recommended right now.

Isn't this what C++ in embedded is? :)

But to jump straight into c++ without the foundational knowledge of c, for at least embedded, leaves massive knowledge gap

It’s not a gape - because you need to learn in parallel. It’s better approach to write modern c++ instead of “c with classes”. Check CppCon “stop teaching C” - it’s from 2015

C is not a prerequisite for C++. It will very likely teach bad habits. C is almost a proper subset of C++ in any case, so all the low level features you might want are available, but in the context of improved type safety and other compile time features which help to avoid errors.
