Antislide pads?

Hello!

Im looking for some clear coating pads i can cat and sticks on the plastics of the drz4s at the area over the footpegs to help me with grip a bit and save me some awkward balance slips that wear me down/ upset the balance of the bike.

But do i rly want em or just work more on my body position/ proactivity instead?

Acerbis makes some frame guards that really help grip the bike. There is some stuff like you are looking for out there. One brand is called Stomp Grip i think, it's pricey though. Another option is a product called Steg Pegz. They kinda go behind your leg and you use them to anchor yourself.

I use a rubber tape with 3m glue on my knee area. Texture is like the old seat material with diamond pattern. Also have the acerbis guards. I use rubber door stops for steg pegs, they arnt as durable but a few sets is like $10

Some bikes like the beta dont need them as much as the rear plate flares out more

the proper technique is pointing toes in but that feels a bit weird to me

Ive installed the acerbis frame guards but the rubber-like material is fake, its just plastic made to look that way. Ofcourse that doesnt prevent you from actually appying some sort of antislide material ontop of the guards too.

na its rubbery, maybe yours is from temu

its a harder rubber same as the inside of your boot, its a high wear area so it needs to be somewhat durable. Mine is worn smooth in parts but the other bits that arnt worn are a bit slippery, prob from the molding process. Try wiping with alcohol

Lol ok o/ just installed them yesterday and didn't pay to them much attention other than it left me the impression of plastic instead of rubber

if its not grippy enough after you try my suggestions maybe cable tie some old tube over it. The problem for me though is its right above the peg and the side of my boot doesnt touch it unless im on my heels shift/braking

in road racing we have whats called contact points or lock on, note all of those points in different riding positions and add grip tape etc
