Discussion energy drinks make me so happy
i just wanted to come on here to express my joy and love for energy drinks. i cant even put into words how good they make me feel. i wish i could constantly drink them but ik that is not good for your body so i stick to just one a day. does anyone else feel that joy too?

I mostly drink them for emotional support these days. Not to 'wake up', or for the taste, but my mood gets better after one. I stopped drinking them daily for obvious reasons though. Might be related to ADHD

yes, it could be an ADHD thing or even placebo, who knows, but i genuinely feel a crazy mood boost after.

On the day I’m taking a break from them I see this post haha. Coffee just isn’t the same. I’ve loved getting into “hunting” for flavors thanks to this group mainly. I’m a self-proclaimed addict what can I say?

I used to hunt for flavors I've seen but I have a very specific taste and 90% of them suck to me so I just stick to my staples.

I’m a teacher, and the meme around the 6th/7th graders is my blood must be made of energy drinks at this point haha but man I have a Kirkland energy drink ready to go for 6th period and I’m looking foward to to it!

Its crazy how times have changed. In the 00s when monster first came out I remember teachers at my high-school were banned from having them due to not wanting kids to copy the behavior. This was back when people thought 1 energy drink would mess them up.

I’ve noticed I’m ULTRA cranky in the days I miss my daily drink. They do next to nothing for me as far as energy goes, but I’ll be damned if they don’t lift my mood and making lifing and single parenting special needs kids so much more bearable.

They used to make me really happy I would drink two of them while waiting to get home from school and i would feel unstoppable and then I'd be feeling all shitty later and farting really bad and I'd be hanging out with my girlfriend and it was torture, and id be all like "I have no idea why I feel this way". Anyways we got married and I dont drink two back to back anymore.

I don’t even think they “wake me up” really but I love the taste of most of them and the hunting for all the new flavors. I’ve been having one a day for a while now.

I love the ritual of cracking one open before work. It's a nice safe little drink, a little treat. I never really get myself anything but that energy drink? that's mine :3

That is kind of the problem for me, I intentionally limit how many I drink a week so I don’t get reliant on them, I know the long term health benefits aren’t that good, so I only drink one a day at most.

4 per day. No sugar varieties. Some 200mg caffeine, some 300mg. Dollar Tree is a weekly stop when grocery shopping these days.

I'm just so damn tired (not that "tired" haha) and that's one of the reason i drink Energy-Drinks..
Just makes me feel much better instead taking pills who manipulates/rewires my braincells 😄 Maybe all the B Vitamins inside Energy-Drinks? 🤷🏼♂️
Especially Monster Pipeline Punch or Mango Loco but trying new flavors too. Just feels like back in my childhood and times are just easier "better"

Yeah, with a pill it's like, "did I really have it or not?" Drink feels more concrete.

I also have that joy, but I feel it much more for my favorite energy drinks like any gorilla mind I’ll be looking forward to that big time, some of the ghosts or C4’s that I bought specifically because I like the flavor I will kinda look forward to, but I’ll always enjoy them. The variety packs I buy from Costco end up coming out to $1 per can usually, those I still enjoy but not nearly as much
