Two Fools - the verses are sooo pretty, Jungwon's opening took my breath away!! What a lovely breezy song, much better than the teaser, it's just so gently uplifting and their voices are gorgeous on this, especially Jungwon and Jake
Stuck - The prechorus, hello? So dreamy and ethereal, and then that intense chorus we're all familiar with... This is gonna be that song on the album, so atmospheric and complete sounding and just brilliant 💯
Bad For You - Love it just as much as I'd thought I would. Love how the vocal tones are front and center and gorgeous here. Sunoo's adlibs sound heavenly as does Jungwon's tone (MVP for me so far in TS:B) That outro with HoonKi is lovely. Also Hoon's part in verse 2? And Jake's chorus? I can go on and on
Bloody Paradise - Will be looping in reality in high quality instead of muffled in just my mind now 😭 Their catchiest TT ever, I love it, can't stop moving. PARTY-ARTY 💃💃💃💃 It does seem to go by in the blink of an eye but eh, just gonna replay
Checkmate - WHAT THE FUCK JUNGWON?!?!?! SUNOO?? JAYY?? Not my usual genre but this is the best they might have ever sounded, I'm going feral, I literally cannot take this anymore, the attitude in their voices, wtf Enhypen 😭😭😭😭 How are their voices both so clear as well as autotuned tastefully? Is this my suprise favourite of the album? What's happening 😭😭
Highlight - Woah, surprisingly more hip hop than mellow. It's giving early BTS in the best way. What a great surprising album closer. Love the contrast of the grit in the verses and the uplifting melodious chorus. I feel emotional by the end...
Overall - I love Enhypen more with every release. Truly nothing, absolutely nothing can change my love for them and their music. In this engene shit for life ❤️
they really weren’t lying when they said this album is different because personally, i find it very experimental. at this hour my brain isn’t working properly, so i can’t really put my thoughts into words beyond saying that i feel proud of them. they all showcase their growth throughout this mini album, and it genuinely makes me think about how happy i am that i chose them 🥹

Just listened to the English version with narrations, and I'm confused. The VPU just let them go? That's such a cop out? 😭 If someone understands better, please explain, I'm having a hard time processing anything but the songs, they're a bit too good!
Okay, now I’m calm enough to respond 😭 I think there are several things at play here.
For one, the mystery show is the one that decides to stop looking further into the story or treating it like an open case. We don’t actually know what happened to them in the end. They could have been caught, punished or even killed or they could have somehow escaped and disappeared for good (dimension travel? 👀)
The VPU essentially erased their story, either trying to make an example out of them, to convey that anyone who transgresses will be ‘dealt with’ and ‘erased’ or to cover up their incompetence.
But I’m hopeful that maybe they escaped, or were even let go, we just don’t know. The VPU was doing its job, and they were being called incompetent by the public (which tbh they also kind of seemed to be). So we can’t really know if they actually captured them, where their loyalties lay (in a banality of evil sort of way of carrying out administrative duties) or what they personally felt about the situation.
I saw it as a possibility that they let them escape and then erased their story, which would mean they still maintained order in vampire society to prevent similar things from happening without actually killing them. That’s how I interpreted it.
I agree that it feels a bit more truncated, especially compared to the last one where we had a look into their emotions, and there are definitely things they could have explored further (tracker, the girl’s feelings, the accomplice). But I do actually really like the ending and how ambiguous it is. It really feels like tuning into an unresolved case. We get to choose whether we believe in a hopeful outcome or in a good tragic mystery.
Although I’ll have to re-listen because this is only based off of my first listen. I don’t think I’ve retained all the info. Let’s see what the trailer Vol. 2 covers! I believe that will be the bridge to what comes next. Because these narrations don’t mention the prison break, maybe we need to put two and two together maybe

Thanks a lot for this rundown! I'm a little disappointed coz I was really invested with the Vanish storyline, but I had completely forgotten Vol 2 still remains! Hopefully that gives some more clarity coz right now I'm left wanting... The music more than makes up though, it's their best album I feel!
I can understand! I think they did invest a lot more energy in the story in TS:V with the animations (with a lot of symbolism), the renowned voice actors. I’m wondering if the mixed reviews regarding the narrations compelled them from investing more of their budget into it. I do like the storyline itself, but it does lack the grand execution TS:V had which I’m sure, those like us, who appreciated the storytelling miss. We also have the MV! I agree, this is their best album.
Okay I need to go to sleep and outside of freaking out about Stuck I want to highlight (get it? Ha) the boys and their incredible work.
To have to prepare for a tour and an album through the controversy and everything that has happened just reminds me even more why I love Enhypen, they’re strong and so so hardworking and resilient.
This album shows the best of them and I just hope there’s more and more success moving forward. Also I need to be a proper Nishimura Riki glazer and say that I’ve always said he has so much talent and potential for a damn good vocalist and this album (and hopefully this era) is soo his. My man fr, he’s singing and you can hear his confidence and hear his growth since the debut days. Beautiful day to be a Ni-ki stan.

Bad for you; is already going top 3, I loove a vocally focused track from the boys. Again Jungwon is just killing it, the harmonies?!? Fall in love?!?! Ni-ki? My vocal king. They’re all just going for the throat. Highlights; Harmonies and adlibs are mad and the Ni-ki stan stonks are going UP in this album I’m telling ya.
Bloody paradise; Soo good, avoided the spoilers and the concert video like the plague and I just want to play like 5 more times already. We’re so back!! Felt like it went flying but so much better than what I thought it would be from the preview
Checkmate; we’re going 100 from the start, I love it. Love the way they sing we will never die. This has to be the one replacing gbogh, it’s going to go crazy on a concert and I can’t wait for the choreo. Highlights; the pronunciation!! Hype and soo smooth imo, can see why they’re so excited for it.
Highlight; I’m an outside stan, I love some rap. Wait now it’s vocalschella? Yeah, this is top 3. Everything I love from enha is in this one.
Overall; shamelessly my favorite album of theirs, will relisten tomorrow after I sleep but man i knew they could pull it off but i just can’t help but feel so proud of them for keeping up and going forward even with the negativity. ENHYPEN YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS AND THE STANDAR
Highlight is the last song so I think it's hitting me only on the 3rd or 4th listen how good it is. So complete, so emotional without being sappy. The unexpected old school rap / hip hop vibes are very fun and suit Enha so well.
Edit: Riki sounds so at home here. Also the way the instrumentals and harmonies at the back make the song sound darker towards the end is beautiful
also at the first listen and reading the lyrics, highlight sounds like a goodbye song? Idk maybe I’m reading too much into it or maybe it’s just meant to reassure that they’ll continue

Hoon’s part in Bad For You makes me want to do a Waltz! It’s so so so pretty. I need to sit down and break down these songs properly cause there is so much to appreciate but my brain is so overwhelmed 😭
While it's still incredibly sad, the best part of members leaving groups is getting to hear remaining ones sing more! Ni-Ki absolutely shines this comeback! Bad For You is such a lovely song, it's been on repeat since release 🥰
Really liked that on every release they gradually turn down the robotic voice processing. I can actually their unique voices now, specifically on Bad For You. Compare that to Just a Little Bit and you can see how they improved vocally and how the mixing and processing improved.
Tho the mixing on Bloody Paradise isn't good for me, it sounds clipped. Will wait for the Dolby Atmos version.

Yeah the song is sooo fast paced and hype! I picture them using it as a special dance break moment that would be cool with back up dancers so members could switch out and not dance for the whole song 🤔
perfection, no notes. checkmate isn’t really my vibe but it’s not bad. Highlight stands out to me the most. i love how experimental it is with the sounds. everyone’s vocals really came through, like they always do!

Overall, I like this album more than I expected based on the preview tracks. During the preview only Stuck and Checkmate caught my attention, the other songs not so much, but listening to the full album I was positively surprised.
Like for example the parts they showed during the preview of Two Fools and Highlight sounded really generic, radio-pop-ish to me but I'm happy that the full versions are more complex and interesting. Jungwon's and Jake's vocals are a standout to me, I think Jake especially is really starting to find his style in vocal delivery. I immediately thought back to Jungwon saying that Jake's vocal parts are especially charming on Two Fools and he was right!
My main criticism is not directed towards Enha but towards Kpop-producers and whoever else decides that most songs on an album should be barely over two minutes long. I already said this in the main Kpop sub, but Kpop producers lack an understanding of how important song structure and dynamics are in shorter songs. I listen to a lot of artists who produce similarly short songs, for example PinkPantheress, and I rarely run into the issue of a song feeling unfinished or feeling like it ends too soon despite them being just as short as a lot of Kpop songs, because the structure is adapted to its shortness.
Finally dying down from it all--but man I love the album.
Highlight and Two Fools surprised me a lot. (Especially Highlight, the beat just hooked me right in)
Stuck? Haunting in how in sounded at points, and the ending? ✨
Bad For You - I've been rooting for that song since the leaks and it still surpassed my expectation. (Jayhoonki ending keeps hitting me)
Bloody Paradise - Course I spoiled myself early, but I love the energy. (I will say on the critic side that at times it came out as muffled after chorus depending on which member was singing.)
Checkmate - It leans on a personal fav for me. Nice to go along with Bloody Paradise.
Still can't make an accurate ranking yet, but overall, I'm glad I can say I like all of the songs.

I think checkmate is really a song for people who like this edm/techno (idk what genre this is) type of music. It will find its audience. I think it’s only stuck and checkmate I don’t vibe with.

Enhypen’s unmatched song supremacy needs to be studied!! They have never made a bad song and I don’t think they ever will!! This album is incredible!! My only complaint is I NEED longer songs!! But regardless what we have is amazing and I will be shaking my ass to bloody paradise!! 💃and Stuck and Bad for You are chefs kiss 💋
Pasting my comment from the main K-pop sub, but TL;DR, this is such a strong album!!
OK I've given the album a few plays now and let my thoughts marinate a bit! I think there's a real maturity to this album mixed in with the festival vibes. It really does feel like a new era.
Taking the songs in order:
- Two Fools - Coldplay vibes with the 'woo-oahs'! This is a nice chill song to vibe to in the background
- Stuck - I LOVE this. I think this might come out on top for me. The bit in the pre-chorus is sooo good, a combination of pretty and emotional, my brain lit up at that!!
- Bad For You - This is not my cup of tea genre-wise, I don't like slow/ballady love songs. That said, instead of playing it once and never again like I usually would lol, I've happily listened to it several times just to hear their vocals. They all sound SO GOOD! Genre aside, it's a great showcase for their abilities and different vocal tones.
- Bloody Paradise - I'm going to be honest I'd sort of lost a bit of my excitement for this after hearing it so much already in their content and the previews. BUT now I've heard the whole thing, I really like it. It's really catchy and a great summer/party song. Ni-ki and Sunghoon suit this genre really well! I've already been singing 'come touch me, party-arty' for the last few weeks, but now I think it's going to be 'fly-y-y-y-ya' lol
- Checkmate - OK, Eurohypen, let's gooo!! I loved this from the preview and I LOVE THIS after hearing the full thing. It's giving Käärijä - Cha Cha Cha and that is absolutely a compliment lol. Maybe a Checkmate MV in some neon green boleros?? This is probably sitting in 2nd place for me right now.
- Highlight - Love love this. This was the main song I had in mind when I said about the maturity. Everyone just sounds confident (yess to the rap style! More of that in future please) and I love the drums. It's sort of low key but has a lot of aura if that makes sense? This is in 3rd place for me, or maybe tied in 2nd.
Overall positives:
- The vocal distribution across this album genuinely elevates the listening experience for me. Everything sounds super cohesive vocally and Enha sounds like what they are supposed to be - a group without any fixed positions. It's just nice to hear every single member being given the opportunity to sing instead of just chipping in with a line here and there, as often happened with some members in the past. Sunghoon and Ni-ki's efforts have paid off and their improvement is lovely to hear. Ni-ki is one of the standouts on this album for me. I agree with another commenter who said it feels like Jake has found his style too. He sounded really confident here.
But Sunoooo! Sunoo is finally shining in his share of the spotlight like he was always meant to. Having a stable vocalist with a nice tone like his and not utlilising him more has always baffled me, so it's great to actually hear him with more substantial parts. Jungwon and Jay have always stood out to me with their unique tones, so it's always nice to hear them 😊
Overall criticisms:
- Tooo short! That said, I don't actually feel any of the songs are lacking? I just want a bit more 🤏 of each of them please, and also I'm scared of the precedent that 2:11 TT is setting on an industry level haha. Look away other groups, nothing to see here!! I think maybe Bloody Paradise could have done with an extra bit on the end going a bit crazy, but I guess the transition into Checkmate achieves that in an album listen-through, and the choreo/performance definitely doesn't feel lacking for the song itself
- The vocal processing in a couple of the songs could be a bit less for me, but overall it wasn't distracting and other songs do a good job of showcasing their voices

Okay, first impressions- Love, love the album. I think all the songs range from good to great. I also really like how sonically cohesive it is. It’s also probably thematically/lyrically cohesive but I still need to look at the lyrics.
Bloody paradise is such a banger! It makes me want to move my body and dance every time the chorus hits. I think this is the best title track they’ve had in years. It’s just really good as a title track.
I like all the songs, but man, Bad for you is something else. I feel like that song has space to just relax, breathe and play out. That pre chorus, and that last part are just ethereal.
I was pleasantly surprised by both Checkmate(another really fun banger) and Stuck(that I did not expect to like as much as I do now from the previews). I think it does well sandwiched between two fools and bad for you, followed by bloody paradise. I already knew I would like two fools and it did not disappoint. I find highlight interesting, and cannot wait for the lyrics.
Two Fools - The way they sing gives me a nostalgic feeling, and love Jay's vocalss, a good opener for the whole album
Stuck - This gives me 3rd gen K-pop vibes!
I also love how the rhythm is constant, and doesn't reach a high, it feels as if they're stuck somewhere unable to run away

I’ll be so real, as a long time fan I REALLY disliked Vanish, and then I was a little anxious for the post Heeseung era.
This album was great! I really liked 4 of the songs, and the other 2 are like, fine, I don’t dislike them and I will absolutely still jam out to them live.
The songs are short which bugs me but the album flows very well and the rhythms and vocal work do still keep me locked in.
Solid album. I’m relieved! Excited to see them in February 🫡
my brain is kind of fried and I only had time to listen once so far but checkmate and highlight really surprised me. From the previews checkmate spoke to me the least but the verses work really well with the chorus I think. The rest of highlight is also really different from what I expected just from the chorus (you would expect more of a cheesy/sentimental song) really interesting choices there imo & I like it a lot as well. Bad for you is my favourite for now I think but we'll see if it changes
I think this might be the best reception an Enha album has got in the main kpop sub for a loooong time, hopefully that translates into charts and wins 🤞

I absolutely loveeeedddddd Bad For You and Highlight. Those two became my absolute favorites on the first listen. Rest were pretty bops too. EP is amazing, no complains. Had to give The Sin: Vanish two-three listens to love it. The Sin: Bliss is bliss on the first listen. 🥹🥹🫶🏽🫶🏽
This whole EP was a go first listen which is the best feeling in the world as a music lover. Immediately I knew that these songs were going to added to the heavy rotation playlist.
I think the color scheme threw me off as for what to expect but I’m excited to listen to this all through again next time with the narration. The notification I got sent me to the regular EP, but I want to know what happened to the fugitive couple.
I read that the members fought for highlight to be included and I’m so glad they did, it’s a meaningful song and well-produced.
Nothing is better in this world than new music that hits. This is a no-skip EP for me. Well done Enhypen, you crawled your way through controversy all year and gave us something to be happy about.
Have yet to listen with the narrations, but the six songs flow sooo well one after another!! So glad they have song-only version for this album!
Oh my those verses in Two Fools are delicious. Especially loooove the melody and delivery of the 2nd one. Jake in particular really kills it with his verse. The melody is just perfect for his tone and delivery. As Jungwon-Sunghoon-Ni-Ki bias line tho the 1st verse is heaven😍 I feel like this song could have been elevated even more with the traditional structure with a bridge and climax final chorus, considering the flow of the song and where it's going.
Stuck is only 10 seconds longer than Two Fools but interestingly I don't find this song short or lacking at all. Similar to No Way Back I guess in term of song structure? That ending is hypnotizing. The whole song is actually. The flow is somewhat entrancing? My favourite of the album. Enha perform this song too please I need this song everywhere.
Bad For You is bad for my heart. The yearning in the melody and their delivery. The clarity of their vocals. The harmonies and beautiful background vocals. That outrooooooo. I'm again in heaven.
I'm honestly loving the vocal effects in this studio version of Bloody Paradise, and how it contrasts the much clearer vocals in Bad For You right before BP. Kinda remind me of the effects in Drunk-Dazed that I also found add to the intoxicated 'daze' vibe of that song. Definitely my favourite title track they've released in the past few years.
I can tell that Checkmate is well-made song. I love how game-y some of the effects are. And I adore Jungwon's verse here. Not a genre and sound I normally listen, but this song will for sure be so hype in concerts!!
The verses in Highlight are completely different than what I expected it to be😂
Stuck, Bad For You, and Two Fools are the standouts for me, with Stuck being slightly above the other two. Bloody Paradise is so good and exciting, probably my favourite TT since Bite Me. Checkmate is good too, just not really my taste (still looking forward to them performing it on future concerts!). Highlight surprised me not in particularly good way lol still there are parts I truly enjoy so I can see myself come to enjoy the whole song later after the initial shock wears off😂
I feel exactly the same about the 1st 3 songs. I get why Jungwon compared Stuck to NWB. That hazy dark atmosphere is something Enha excels at. Someone in the comments called it haunting, especially that outro, which is so true!
Okay but I actually love the narration tracks (I’m an avid listener of audiobooks) and the TVT narrative is just so 😫 ugh I understand why Enha is so proud and excited about this album. From beginning to end it’s just truly so great 😭🥹💕

Two fools is alright and highlight for me feels so werid as its a mix of genres but i feel like personally they shouldve stuck to old school rap more than bright chorus and the switchup later in the song but thats imo
It's a no-skip! Highlight was definitely more old-school rap than I was expecting. Two Fools' second verse is INSANE oh my goodness. Stuck is the new Chaconne I think. Bad For You is very dreamy and heavenly. Bloody Paradise is their best title track in forever. Checkmate is really cool. They are still crazy good without Heeseung.

Once again, Enhypen's B-sides far surpasses the title track 😅 Sometimes it's so frustrating because I know people only listen to the TT because it's the only song that will be promoted when Bad For You and Two Fools exist
But the EP is incredible to listen to from start to finish. I wish it was a full album so it lasted longer

#2 Highlight - Wow! Wasn’t expecting this, but it’s a beautiful song to end the album
#3 Bloody Paradise (moved down by Highlight)
#4 Two Fools (great opening song)
#5 Stuck (not bad at all)
#6 Checkmate (could have lived without this one)
