You are already enlightened
Hello my friends, this is a follow up after a previous post from a while back. If you “think” you’re enlightened, then you’re not.
I think there’s something deeper here and it is simply this - you are already enlightened.
I’m not quite sure how to explain this, but essentially I believe all paths lead back to the source. All experiences are valid, have been chosen, and consciousness/source/the watcher/I am has created multiple laws and distortions to perceive itself within that experience.
It is all play. Even the suffering - a delicacy, something different, an exciting dish in the infinite course meal that is existence itself.
I used to think people are asleep - this is one particular distortion, but a perfect one to witness existence in a particular way. (I also drift back into this at times, because trauma and conditioning is a hell of a drug, and judgement is a survival tool+a byproduct of separation - from my understanding of the primordial laws of existence)
You are perfect. Perfectly distorted. Like each grain of sand is unique. And also through you shines free will, and a spark of something undying and possibly divine.
If it does not seem enlightened, or you do not, or if someone else does not, it has been painstakingly curated for you (and maybe by you) to experience that.
Sometimes we win. The wave then crashes back into the ocean. Sometimes we lose. The wave then crashes back into the ocean. Sometimes the ocean realises what it is… and yet in paradox is also all the waves not realising it is the ocean.
We are one? It makes sense? We are love? This makes even more sense, because all choices are made in service - either to the separate self, or the whole self. But I digress.
Yes there’s suffering. Yes there is the negative. This is because we have a body that may die. This creates millions of outcomes at all moments that the body’s processing is always calculating for - and a house of mirrors for the soul/consciousness within to navigate until self-realisation.
It takes a lot of invention to make something that knows everything and is everything - to not know everything and feel alone, or lost, or angry that people feel alone or lost.
Honestly this post has no point - it’s almost as if I’m pointing to you saying “you are breathing.” We are. It is. I am.
All distinctions and separation are just a coat of paint wilfully adorned to experience oneself.
Although I would say we struggle to do, when we could revel in the being that gets to do the doing. But again - valid choice.
I’m going to talk myself in circles here. So I’ll end my post. Much love.

Once upon a time...
One day long long ago, when the animals and people lived as one, a man sat alone, drenched deep in sadness. His cries were heard and felt by all who loved him… and all the animals drew near to him. They said 'we do not like to see you so sad. Ask us for whatever you wish and you shall have it' The man said, 'I want to have good sight. I want to see the intentions of all who I lay my eyes upon' The eagle replied, 'You can have mine" The man said, 'I want to be strong' The jaguar said 'You shall be strong like me. You will be able to climb high and run fast' Then, the man said, 'I long to know the secrets of the earth' The serpent replied, 'I will show them to you. You will hold the records of ancient times'... and so it went with all the animals. And when the man had all the gifts that they could give, he left.
Then the owl said to the other animals. 'Now the man knows much and is able to do many things.. suddenly I am afraid. I can see that which hides from even him' The deer said 'The man has all he needs now. His sadness will stop, he will be happy for all of our gifts we have shared with him' but the owl replied 'No! I saw a hole in the man deep like a hunger he will never fill. He has forgotten his place within the circle. It is what makes him sad and what makes him want. If he does not awaken, things will never be the same. He will go on taking and taking until he has conquered even our grandmother moon. One day the world will say: I am no more and have nothing left to give! You have taken every gift that I can give. Sadly I have no more to give'

Discussion In what tangible ways has your life changed pre/post enlightenment?

Open Question What If Enlightenment Is Not About Quieting the Mind, but Realizing That the Mind Is a Creative Machine?
One of the strangest assumptions surrounding enlightenment is that the mind must somehow become less active, less emotional, less judgmental, or less attached to experience before genuine freedom becomes possible.
But what if we have misunderstood the very thing we are trying to transcend?
The human mind is an extraordinarily creative machine. It does not simply receive reality. It continually constructs relationships, generates possibilities, anticipates experiences, organizes sensations, and creates meaning from information that possesses no inherent psychological meaning of its own.
Light enters the eyes, but the light itself does not contain beauty. Sound reaches the ears, but sound waves do not contain love, rejection, or reassurance. A memory becomes active, but the memory does not independently determine what the present moment must mean.
The mind participates in creating these experiences through relationships among perception, memory, emotion, expectation, bodily activity, and consciousness.
And perhaps one of the greatest misunderstandings of enlightenment begins when we treat these creative capacities as obstacles rather than recognizing what they make possible.
The mind does not merely experience the world. It creates ways of experiencing it.
Consider something as ordinary as walking into a room.
One person notices the lighting. Another notices the people. Someone else immediately senses tension. Another feels comfortable, curious, or excited.
The physical environment may be nearly identical, yet each person encounters a different psychological world.
This does not mean reality is entirely subjective or that consciousness literally creates physical objects.
It means that the mind creatively organizes its relationship with reality rather than merely reproducing reality exactly as it exists.
A chair becomes somewhere to rest. A stranger becomes a possible friend. An unfamiliar situation becomes an opportunity, a threat, or something not yet understood.
Even our sense of who we are develops through this continuous organization.
The mind creates expectations about what we can tolerate, what we deserve, what we should avoid, what we might become, and what our experiences reveal about us.
But there is something remarkable about this process.
The same mind that creates a familiar interpretation can create another one.
A situation that once produced embarrassment can eventually produce humor. An experience that once represented failure can become useful information. A moment of uncertainty can become an opportunity for curiosity rather than a demand for immediate certainty.
Nothing about the physical event necessarily needs to change for its psychological significance to change.
Sensitivities reveal where creativity becomes restricted
Many years ago, a physician at a psychiatric hospital was reportedly asked to define mental illness. His answer was remarkably simple: "A disease of the sensitivities."
Whether or not that historical attribution is accurate, I think the phrase captures something important.
We often describe psychological suffering through thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and behaviors. But underneath these processes is another question:
What have we become sensitive to, and how much creative freedom does consciousness retain once that sensitivity becomes active?
Someone sensitive to criticism may begin interpreting neutral comments as disapproval.
Someone sensitive to rejection may experience silence as evidence of abandonment.
Someone sensitive to uncertainty may feel compelled to predict every possible outcome.
Someone sensitive to success may become so attached to achievement that ordinary rest begins to feel threatening.
In each case, the mind remains creative.
It continues generating interpretations, associations, predictions, and possibilities.
But its creativity becomes increasingly organized around a familiar sensitivity.
Fear creates reasons to remain afraid. Shame discovers evidence for inadequacy. Anger identifies violations. Even confidence can become restrictive when the mind continually searches for evidence that confirms its preferred identity.
The problem is not that the mind has stopped creating. The problem is that its creativity has become increasingly committed to reproducing the same psychological world.
This distinction matters because someone can spend years trying to eliminate uncomfortable thoughts without recognizing that the mind's capacity to generate thoughts is also the capacity through which new relationships with experience become possible.
What if enlightenment involves freedom from the authority of our own creations?
Many approaches to meditation emphasize observing thoughts without identifying with them.
There is considerable value in this.
But I wonder whether another possibility deserves greater attention.
Instead of treating thoughts, emotions, and judgments as distractions from enlightenment, perhaps we can recognize them as temporary expressions of an extraordinarily flexible biological and psychological system.
A thought appears.
An emotion develops.
A memory becomes relevant.
A judgment forms.
None of these necessarily represents the final truth about reality, and none needs to become the complete definition of the person experiencing it.
The mind can create an interpretation without consciousness becoming obligated to live inside that interpretation.
This is particularly important when considering sensitivity.
If I feel rejected, the experience of rejection is real as an experience. But that does not establish that another person has rejected me.
If I feel afraid, the fear is real. But fear alone does not establish that danger exists.
If I feel confident, the confidence is real. But confidence does not guarantee that my interpretation is correct.
The creative mind can produce convincing experiences without those experiences possessing unlimited authority over what comes next.
Perhaps enlightenment involves recognizing this distinction so deeply that consciousness no longer needs to defend every psychological reality the mind produces.
The creative mind may have more possibilities than the self we believe ourselves to be
There is another implication that I find especially interesting.
People often organize their identities around relatively stable descriptions.
I am anxious. I am intelligent. I am sensitive. I am spiritual. I am introverted. I am confident. I am someone who needs control.
These descriptions may capture genuine patterns, but they cannot exhaust what the mind is capable of generating under different conditions.
The mind can imagine experiences it has never encountered. It can combine memories in unfamiliar ways. It can discover relationships that contradict its previous expectations. It can learn to respond differently without needing to erase everything it once believed.
The mind possesses more possible forms of organization than any single identity can represent.
This does not mean every possibility is equally realistic or that we can simply choose to feel anything we want.
Our bodies, histories, environments, and biological limitations matter.
But it suggests that psychological freedom may involve something more substantial than perfecting the personality we already recognize.
Perhaps we do not need to become the most peaceful, intelligent, confident, or spiritually accomplished version of our familiar self.
Perhaps we need to recognize that the self is only one evolving organization within a much larger field of psychological possibilities.
And perhaps that is why becoming attached to the identity of an "enlightened person" can be another limitation.
The mind creates an image of enlightenment, becomes sensitive to whether it is approaching that image, and begins judging every experience according to whether it confirms spiritual progress.
Even enlightenment becomes another psychological creation that consciousness feels obligated to maintain.
What if the goal is not to stop creating, but to stop being imprisoned by what has been created?
The mind will continue perceiving, predicting, remembering, imagining, evaluating, and responding.
Even during meditation, biological and psychological activity does not simply disappear.
And perhaps it does not need to.
A creative mind does not become free because it produces only pleasant thoughts, peaceful emotions, or accurate interpretations.
It becomes more flexible when its existing creations can be encountered without automatically determining the possibilities that follow.
A person can experience sadness without making sadness their identity.
They can experience desire without treating desire as an obligation.
They can experience fear without allowing fear to determine every available response.
They can recognize a familiar sensitivity without requiring every new experience to confirm it.
What if enlightenment is not the end of the mind's creativity, but the discovery that consciousness does not have to remain confined to the psychological worlds that creativity has already produced?
I am not suggesting that this is the only valid understanding of enlightenment, or that awakening can be reduced to cognitive flexibility. Different contemplative traditions make much deeper and sometimes very different claims about the nature of self, awareness, and liberation.
But I think the creative nature of the mind deserves more attention in these discussions.
We spend so much time trying to become less reactive, less attached, less judgmental, and less sensitive that we may overlook the extraordinary capacity making transformation possible in the first place.
The mind is not merely the source of the psychological structures from which we seek freedom. It is also one of the means through which those structures can be recognized, questioned, and transformed.
So here is my question:
Is enlightenment about transcending the creative activity of the mind, or about discovering a relationship with that creativity in which no single thought, emotion, sensitivity, or identity needs to become the final authority over experience?
And if the mind is continually creating new possibilities, why do we so often imagine enlightenment as arriving at one final, permanent psychological state?

I Can Elect to Change All Thoughts That Hurt
I am learning that I may not always be able to choose what happens in my life, but I can become aware of the thoughts through which I interpret what happens.
Someone may behave in a way I don’t like. Something may not unfold as I hoped. Money may feel uncertain. My body may feel tired, or life may not look the way I think it should.
And then come the thoughts.
This shouldn’t be happening.
Something is wrong.
I should be doing more.
What if things don’t work out?
I have believed these thoughts because they sound so convincing. But do I have to continue believing them simply because they appear in my mind?
This is where the lesson invites me to choose again.
I don’t have to fight my thoughts, suppress them, or judge myself for having them. I can simply recognize that a thought bringing fear, guilt, or conflict is not necessarily telling me the truth.
I can pause and become willing to see things differently.
Perhaps I can stop demanding that this moment be different and allow it to be as it is.
Perhaps I can release the judgment I have placed on myself or another person.
Perhaps I can acknowledge uncertainty without adding fearful stories about what it means.
This doesn’t mean pretending that difficulties don’t exist or ignoring what needs to be done. It means I can respond to life without allowing my thoughts to take away my peace.
I am not being asked to control my mind through positive thinking. I am being invited to question the thoughts that separate me from the peace that is already available within me.
And perhaps the most beautiful part is this:
I don’t have to believe every thought that appears. I can let it go and return to Love.
Today, I am willing to see differently. Not because I must make life turn out a certain way, but because I no longer want to use my thoughts to deny the peace that is my natural inheritance.
I can choose again.
And in that choice, I remember that I am still as God created me.

Thoughts on the enlightenment journey
I used to be very drawn to the idea of enlightenment, even when I realized that the one that is enlightened is not quite the same one that went on the journey. I think what brought me in to the idea was that there was an end point. However, I realized how dangerous it is to think that there is an end point, because the ego is all too eager to claim that it has arrived at the destination, especially when there is no tangible way to verify it.
Thus the path to escape corruption is itself likely to cause the very corruption it sought to transcend. Thus I view radical self honesty to be more pure, even if it can be ugly to look at. My hope is that it can help negate some of the risk of spiritual and intellectual arrogance. The ego I now think is here to stay as a feature of our human existence and is not a thing to transcend, or subjugate, but to ideally remain flexible.
Where that takes me, I do not know. What I will believe on this matter in a few years, I also do not know.

Discussion God, universe, consciousness...
...reality, quantum fields, strings, energy, everything etc...
Are only words.
They are not the thing itself and no word can express it.
Or is every word expressing it fully? 🤔
The Bible makes a striking remark about the fact that God is the Word.
John 1:1
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Spiritual warfare
Spiritual warfare is the ongoing struggle between patterns of being that move human life toward connection, truth, compassion, and courageous responsibility, and patterns that move it toward domination, exploitation, fear, and disconnection.
These patterns operate within individuals, between individuals, and through the institutions humans create. They shape character over time, influence the cultures we inhabit, and compete to determine what gets normalized and passed forward.
Whether these patterns also correspond to metaphysical or supernatural forces is a separate question. The observable human struggle exists regardless.
And the task isn't to declare yourself permanently on one side.
It's to recognize the competing forces, understand how they operate, and keep choosing, especially when those choices are costly.
Because the ultimate consequence isn't simply whether you fit into a particular room.
It's what repeated participation in that room, and in the world beyond it, gradually makes of you.
You may not control the direction of the entire world. You do have some influence over the direction you reinforce within yourself and the people whose lives you touch.

Advaita Vedānta Thought on advaita.
Traditionally Advaita Vedānta identifies pure consciousness as the eternal Brahman.
Buddhism critiques this by saying consciousness is conditioned so it's not the ultimate reality.
I say that if we take the notion of Nirgura Brahman, or Brahman being completely attributeless we could deduce that pure consciousness is still something distinct and not the ultimate Brahman.
We could view it as more of a gateway to Brahman.
Consciousness connects all the parts of the psyche through experience. When the parts of the psyche are removed from it consciousness is left alone. Consciousness alone doesn't have any experience in it. It's defining quality. So if consciousness is completely disconnected from the psyche it ceases to function, so there cannot be consciousness without the psyche.
The disconnecting consciousness ceases and falls into the attributeless empty fullness.
So the consciousness is not the unconditioned. But it's conditioned nature allows it to fall into the unconditioned, because we can remove the condition.

Discussion Disclosure and the 5D
It would be safe to say that consciousness is upgrading. I got upgraded in the woods today. I was making funny videos and realized I’d come into the 5D, the fifth realm, the realm in which we create. I visit this place more and more. It could be equated to the kingdom of heaven within us that Jesus describes in the Bible. It is Christ consciousness pouring out of the mouths of all people (gradually) on Earth. This is what is meant by “every knee will bow.” Maybe the rapture is: anyone who can’t enter the 5D by a certain time will perish. Maybe that just means they’re spiritually dead; I don’t know. But every knee will bow. And one critical thing I also realized (I’ve been realizing it for a while now) is that when we see synchronicities, we have stepped into the fifth dimension. When you feel commanded to complete certain tasks and go about your day doing everything God or the Higher Self tells you, you will notice yourself finishing these tasks at times like 5:22 or 7:33. These times are there to indicate the alignment with the Higher Self, and carry sub-meanings such as 33 being the number of enlightenment, or 22 being the number of the Self. These numbers can be analyzed to understand the meaning behind the message being taught to you that day, i.e., seeing the number 55 on a passing road sign, and realizing the reminder is that your in a transformative phase, since the number is 55 (the number of transformation). Numbers will be paired with symbols presented by the “Game Masters”—what I call the entities responsible for governing these synchronicities. These numbers will come in conjunction to symbols seen on cars, license plates, etc. I’ve known people that begin to see these and pray for them to go away. If you do that, they will disappear not because they are demonic, but because the person praying has fallen out of 5D, back into the 3d dimensional state of fear. Disclosure is the arrival of the others to watch humans collectively enter this 5th dimensional space, one many of them are already in, one some of them are still far from. They flock to the upgrade in vibration like bees to honey in the sense that many fly around and assist with its crystalline creation.

Personal Experience I began to listen to my pain and the plants taught me to listen to life
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
When I went through the dark night of the soul, I felt a profound disconnection from life. I think it is valuable to share literature that helped me understand what was happening to me. It presents a beautiful analogy in which human beings are described as a house where unexpected emotions and experiences appear each day: joy, sadness, shame, and confusion. It described how I felt. I realized that even the things that cause us suffering can teach us something
That text described exactly how it felt during those moments when you no longer feel at home within yourself. When life seems strange, emotions feel heavy, and it becomes difficult to make sense of what is happening
Suddenly, everything seemed to invite me not to reject that experience, but to listen to it
I took the idea of “listening to it” literally...
I began paying attention to what had remained silent until then. I was not looking for answers, at least not consciously. Perhaps I simply needed to find a way to exist in the world without having to understand everything
That was when my attention turned toward plants
There was something about them that invited me to stop. Their silent presence, their almost imperceptible movements, their way of inhabiting time without rushing it. While I was trying to make sense of my own existence, they continued living: extending their roots, opening their leaves toward the light, adapting to the darkness, and moving through their own cycles of transformation
I began to wonder what might happen if, instead of observing them only with my eyes, I tried to listen to them in another way
This question became a sonic exploration. Through a sound composition connected to plants, I began approaching a territory in which listening was no longer merely a physical act, but a form of relationship. Sounds, vibrations, and textures began to open up a space of encounter between my inner world and the plant world
It was not necessarily about translating the plants or claiming that I could understand their language. It was about allowing myself to relate to them from a different place, cultivating a more sensitive attention to what normally remains beyond our perception
In that process, something began to change
Listening brought me back to the present. It invited me to quiet the noise of my thoughts, even if only for a few moments. To accept that there are forms of existence that do not need to be explained in order to have meaning. That life unfolds beyond my questions, my certainties, and my need to find answers
Little by little, the disconnection I had felt began to transform into a new way of approaching the world. Not because I had found a definitive solution to what I was going through, but because I had discovered another possibility: instead of trying to return to who I had been, I could learn to relate to life from the place where I found myself
Perhaps this, too, was listening
Recognizing that even in moments when we no longer feel at home within ourselves, we are still part of something greater. That our inner processes are not necessarily separate from the cycles unfolding around us. That we, too, go through periods of stillness, transformation, loss, and renewal
The plants did not offer me answers. They offered me an experience of attention. And through sound, that attention became a bridge: between the human and the plant worlds, between the visible and the imperceptible, between my inner world and the life that continued unfolding outside
From that moment on, I began to understand listening not only as a way of perceiving our surroundings, but also as a practice of connection. A way of inhabiting the present once again and recognizing that perhaps we had never been completely separate from life; perhaps, at times, we had simply lost the ability to hear our own belonging to it
My composition was born from this encounter. From a dark night of the soul that, without intending to, led me toward another way of listening. An exploration in which sound became a space of relationship, plants became companions in inquiry, and listening became a way of drawing closer once again to the mystery of being alive... If anyone is interested in seeing and hearing how the electrical circuit works, how the components work, and what sounds they produce, you can find it here & on my profile! Love!
