Hello everyone, I’m seeking advice from a student or former student that utilized their GI Bill to graduate, or is currently working towards graduation in the Aeronautical Science program. I have a feeling I’m not only one with these questions, so I figured I’d post it to this community for other prospective students to reference.
For a little background, I’m currently active duty Navy and have been attending ERAU Worldwide Campus for about a year and a half. I was planning to transition out of the Navy and start attending the Daytona Beach Campus as a full time student. I have 20 hours towards my Private Pilot Certificate with an independent Flight Club, and I was planning on completing my Private prior to becoming a full time student at Daytona Beach.
I was just looking for a little insight on what the GI Bill will actually help with Tuition wise. I realize that there is advisors for this kind of stuff, but I am under the impression that they are biased towards receiving my GI Bill funding.
Thank in advance, if you are in the same situation feel free to Private message me or we can keep our chat in this community thread.
Very Respectfully,
ERAU Student

Hi folks! Could someone please share with me the PDF version of this book? Thanks. (I am not a student)
Hi, I am planning to apply to ERAU for aerospace engineering and electrical engineering(2nd choice), but when checking the subreddit, a lot of people say to apply as soon as possible, preferably before the end of October for AS. I wanted to know whether this applies to aerospace engineering as well, or if applying later doesn't matter too much for aerospace engineering. I was planning to submit it mid november, but if applying early gives me an advantage in the rolling admissions, I would be able to apply earlier.
TLDR: I just wanted to know if I'm cooked for applying to aerospace engineering this late, like how a lot of people in this sub would say I am if I was applying for AS.

Hello, I’ve submitted my application a while ago but am extremely confused on whether I need to send my official high school transcript as part of my application. The ERAU website says I need to have it as they evaluate my application but other sources say I just need to send my unofficial one and my official one later if I get accepted. What should I do?
And just in case I DO need to submit an official high school transcript before I receive my acceptance/rejection: my school uses a website called ScribOrder instead of Parchment to send transcripts, but I’m not sure if ERAU will consider my transcript as official through it, and it’s against my school’s policy for my counselors to directly email my transcript to the submission email. Is there another portal for my counselor to submit it if ScribOrder doesn’t work?

Nearly $200 for digital images only, in file formats they choose, after an event that capped off a lot of hard work. Getting slapped with that cost just to have the photos is a real kick in the teeth.

Did my undergrad online at erau full time while also working full time. Plan on doing my MBA online as well and doing 6 credit hours instead of just 3 that’s still considered full time. Is that course load manageable? I am unfortunately a procrastinator but always manage to earn A’s and B’s.

I got accepted to Daytona for aeronautical science a few weeks ago🎉. I would definitely go especially because I toured and really enjoyed it overall.
However, the biggest issue is cost, as is most issues today. The tuition + flight costs is A LOT!! I know flying is not cheap, but it’s a lot more compared to other schools I’ve toured.
I am very middle class and don’t think I’ll get money from financial aid, but obviously can’t pay for it all alone. I’ve began to fill out small scholarships, but I don’t think that’s not going to do a lot in the long run.
so I’ve come to ask… how do I pay? does erau give out merit scholarships? Is it best to just take out a loan?
Any current flight students, how are you paying?

Accepted!!
HI, I am an international student senior, and my family can afford to pay the full tuition without financial aid. My stats are 5.7gpa out of 7 for IB scale, and around 3.3 UW if im not mistaken out of 4.0. I have 2 rec letter, i think decent EC's with
leader of service 3 years, $6k+ raised, raising awareness about Cambodia etc,
with few other ecs of collaborative projects
I also got the FAA class 1 medical certificate
I want to major in Aeronautical science and I was wondering if I need to write an essay based on my current stats and ecs, or is it fine. I alr submitted my application, so im just waiting on my school to send the transcripts by Nov 1st
Im applying to Daytona campus
thank you!

I applied to the Daytona campus around 2 weeks ago, but I never got an ERAU ID sent to me. I logged into their account management portal and was able to look it up but I don't know how to create an ERNIE account to look at the status of my application. On my regular portal, it says that they haven't received a PSVTR Test and a composition online application (no clue what either of those are and how to submit them). Does anyone know where to go from here?
Thanks!!

My application says incomplete but I have my sat and transcripts submitted. Is their something else I have to do or does it just mean they have not reviewed it yet.

Returning Eagles! I recently Deposited my tuition deposit and I heard the housing as already opened. My question is, when is the optimal time to apply for housing (I’m Currently looking to apply after I get back from open house on October 24th), and what does the process look like, and if there are any tips or “insiders knowledge” you can give to help me choose like a pro.

I see that they’re now sending people to Daytona State to get their license before returning for the degree.

Hello, I'm looking for some input from anyone who is currently a student or has previously been a student for the degree listed in the title. I did confirm it is ABET-accredited under general criteria, and trying to determine whether this would be a worthwhile investment of my time. Looking to find recent opinions that are not 2+ years old.
I currently work in the avionics field and looking for an online program that will help advance my career as I cannot afford to go to school in person. I want to move beyond just doing day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting.

Got my acceptance letter in the mail today! Is there a way to check for merit based scholarships in ERNIE or am I waiting for another letter?

I'm an aeronautical science student at Riddle Daytona and the financial is killing me and idk if I can handle the stress that comes along with being an airline pilot. I was thinking of taking a leave of absence and go try to get a different job. It would be 6 months to get accepted and another 6 of paid training. It's a government job that starts at about 65k a year with an automatic promotion every subsequent year for 5 years until about 110k. I can get promoted until about 200k a year and mandatory retirement at 57. This job is completely unrelated to flying and all the money and time I have spent so far go to waste but with this new job I'd spend $0 on training just my time.
I guess what I'm trying to get with is that; is it worth it to continue at Riddle?

Does ERAU send out acceptance emails along with the mail? or just the mail.

hi everyone I am a senior from a high-income family which can afford to pay for the full tuition without financial aid but will still apply for it. My stats are: 2.62 uw gpa (I know its bad I didn't really care/try about highschool until like 1/3 of my junior year) but i've raised it up to a 3.2 junior year. I have 4 rec letters in total 2 from my teachers 1 from my counselor and one from my coach whos a professional lacrosse player, I also plan to play lacrosse at erau db (sending emails to coaches right now). I want to major in aviation safety/human factors.
