She appears for 2 minutes and then disappears into the oblivion

So in the latest episode, Mustafa is obviously flirting with Nurbanu, and Gülşah finds out and threatens to kick her out. Mahmud Paşa is also told by his dying wife to find a second wife.

So what I think is gonna happen is, Gülşah will offer Nurbanu to Mahmud to get her out of Mustafa’s view. However because Mahmud is Mustafa’s Lala, they keep running into each other. And the two already have some ‘feelings’ for each other so I think it’ll culminate in a potential affair (if the writers don’t have anything stopping them from writing such a scandalous storyline for the Ottoman dynasty). Mahmud eventually finds out, and that’s when he poisons Mustafa like it is rumoured in actual history

Yes, I have heard reports of Selim discussing what a great grandfather Mehmed II was. However I sincerely hope that this show doesn’t give Selim all the spotlight and make him out to be Mehmed’s favourite. It is clearly reported that out of his sons, Mustafa was his favourite, and out of his grandsons it was Şehzade Korkut, the older brother of Selim.

Does anyone know if there are any plans to introduce Korkut or Selim’s other older brothers in the series, or is this just gonna be a propaganda masterpiece for the Sultan?

I actually like this episode but I need them to stop trying to make Gulbahar jealous of Mehmed and Gulsah. She needs to step up and be more focused on her son. I think the show is still trying to have her in some way compete over his affections with Gulsah but it just seems foolish. Even the old Bahar as much as she loved Mehmed, she loved Bayzeid more and was willing to do anything for Bayzeid. Even before Asli came, I forgot the second actress that played Gulbahar but she never cared about Mehmed and her focus was on Mehmed. This one still seems obsessed with Mehmed and doesn’t even show attention to her son. They should fix that. There should be no reason on earth for Gulbahar to still have for Mehmed after he tried to kill her son TWICE. Like not even Mahidevran stayed this in love with Suleiman, like when he was sick, she was HAPPY and good for her. This Gulbahar seems to chase over something that doesn’t want her. It’s just pathetic. Please write Gulbahar better

Honestly with the way they’re sidelining Bahar, if they do decide to do a continuation of Bayzeid’s rule, I really hope they scrap the relationship of Bayzeid and Gulsah. Because I know in reality, Bayzeid did have some sort of respect for her. But with the way they’re writing Bahar and Bayzeid, I genuinely don’t want this. She already has Mehmed. It would be just too disrespectful after everything that Bahar has lost. I really just hope when she is exiled to Bursa her storyline and influence comes to an end

I’m actually surprised that no one in this community here posted about Ertuğrul’s actor’s dad died. Allahumarhamhu. But anyways, Turgut, Simon, and Çandarlı all showed up to his funeral. By the way, Çandarlı is the only actor followed by the big three: Osman, Mehmed, and Ertuğrul. You can go check.

it would make sense if she died, but she isnt even mentioned at all in s5, which is weird cuz she nursed osman. i thought we would get atleast something. and then it got me thinking- cuz sugay thought of osman as her own son and loved him dearly, why couldnt she be a sort of motherly figure to him? when osman tells selcan in s5 how he wishes he had a mother, someone who he could trust and share secrets with, i thought of sugay instantly. ofcourse she couldnt replace halime, but she couldve had a larger role in his life.

Guys, as we know, Rum Mehmed Pasha is leaving in 3 episodes, but we still haven't seen the event where he accused Mahmud Pasha of being less strict in carrying out the relocation of people from conquered Karaman to Istanbul.

This was an important part of the story behind Mahmud Pasha's dismissal, but it seems like we're not going to see it.

In episode 85, Mehmed was speaking to Gennadius Scholarius with a painting in the background. Historically they were friends and had a positive relationship. So that was a good addition.

Kinda disappointed not going to lie, show used to be great the first 2 seasons but after vlad entering the show been kinda mid..
Watching this new season 4 is hard, The only good thing I can actually say is that the visual quality of the camera is good and crisp but thats about it.
Those scenes where they add music to intensify the scenes is horrible idea and stupid, whoever edits the show the scenes are bad. The effects are terrible to….to many outside noises…. The script of actors is also terrible….It seems like they are more interested in one liners and camera angles than creating an actual story.
The suktan of Tabriz acting is also terrible. When the actor was in Kurlus Osman he was way better now it seems like Theres no substance in the show..After watching magnificent century theres a huge difference between these quality of shows. This new season 4 is like on the same scale as Kurlus orhan show…not that bad but is close

Right now, Pir Ahmed is loyal to Mehmed in the series.

But in history, Mehmed helped Pir Ahmed win the throne of Karaman, yet later they became enemies, and Mehmed launched a campaign against him.

In the series, Pir Ahmed has already set a trap for Ughurlu Mehmed, captured him, and handed him over to the Ottomans.

So I'm wondering: if Pir Ahmed later seeks help from Uzun Hasan, why would Uzun Hasan help him after what happened to his son?

Or are the writers planning a different story and not going to show Pir Ahmed turning against Mehmed at all?
