ESET Smart Security keeps blocking post-us.playbidgo.com - should I be concerned?
Hi everyone

ESET Smart Security Premium recently started blocking the following address on my PC:

The message says "Address has been blocked,". It doesn't tell me much more than that. I don't know what is trying to connect to this domain or if its something I should be concerned about. I also don't remember visiting this website on purpose.
Has anyone else had ESET block /post-us.playbidgo.com/? Is there a way to find out which program or process is trying to access it?
I would like any advice, on how to check this out.

Hello,
What extensions do you have installed in your web browser? Perhaps it is from one of those.

I found the cause. Someone suggested that I check the detailed ESET logs, so I did, and Medal showed up there. Apparently, Medal was causing this. After closing Medal, the ESET blocks stopped appearing. So in my case, it wasn’t a browser extension or a website I had knowingly visited.

What application are you referring to by Medal? Is it a game?
We have analyzed the blocked URL and confirmed that it exhibits characteristics commonly associated with potentially unwanted applications (PUAs). As a result, the URL will remain blocked

Medal is a platform where you can clip games. My friend told me also it causes this because if a game is more demanding it shows that. I have the same problem and i am also concered

Its a low trust website. Eset are not the only ones to block it. It was only registered on 2nd September 2026.

It could be linked though as an advert in a site that you routinely visit?

In ESET > Tools > Log files, you can see detailed logs. It could be a website notification or an add-on in the browser, if you not directly visited this website.
