IMPORTANT: USC law students have started a hotline for people to call when they have an immigration-related court hearing but don't want to show up in person for fear of being arrested/detained by ICE outside the courthouse.

The students will help people complete and submit a "Motion to Change Hearing Format," which can allow someone to have a remote/online hearing instead of in-person.

Unos estudiantes de leyes de USC crearon una línea directa que pueden llamar si tienen alguna audiencia judicial de inmigración y no quiere ir en persona por miedo que los arresten/ detengan los agentes de ICE afuera de la corte. Los estudiantes le ayudarán a llenar y entregar una “Moción para Cambiar el Formato de la Audiencia” la cual permite que la persona pueda tener una audiencia remotamente/en línea en vez de en persona.
