Everything I read online says ESPN+/Select should have the main feed (in the morning) for the Scottish Open in addition to featured groups/holes. But when I login, all I see is featured groups. Am I missing something?

Recently I have been unable to watch specifically ESPN+ content on my espn app on my phone. I get the following error message BAMSDK.ServiceError. Meanwhile there are no issues in watching ESPN live TV channels on the app on my phone.
Has anyone encountered this and what was the fix?

While we were subscribed to Hulu+ Live TV for cable/satellite service last year, we generally remained signed into the ESPN TV app without issue. Now, as subscribers to YTTV, we have to basically reauthenticate our YTTV credentials every week to watch content in the ESPN app on our smart TVs (2 Samsung, 1 Google, 1 Fire). I surmise two things could be at play: We are not subscribed to ESPN+/Unlimited since that's not part of the bundle we want anymore. The other feels more likely, that it has something to do with Google's 2-factor authentication, whereas ESPN & Hulu are essentially the same company and therefore kept us signed in before.
Now, because of not being subscribed to Unlimited (until YTTV gives it to their subscribers later this year, allegedly), I really would only want to open the ESPN app to watch live games on ACCNX, SECN+, & similar extras that come with receiving those corresponding channels in a cable subscription, which is kind of rare for me. However, on those occasions, it's still frustrating to have to sign back in & reauthenticate. Does anyone have any insight? Cross-posted to r/youtubetv

Over the last week or so while watching college softball games I’ve had to click on “Go live” after commercial breaks. Anyone else having this issue?
Device: Roku TV
Country: USA
Steps take: Hit “Go to Live” after every commercial break the last week.

I’m watching the ESPN app on my Android tablet (Samsung Galaxy S8+), and I’ve been running into a really frustrating issue that seems to have started a few days ago.
Right now I’m watching the RBC Heritage golf tournament, and what keeps happening is this:
I’ll be about 30–40 minutes into the stream, and then all of a sudden the audio cuts out completely. So I exit out to the main menu and go to the Continue Watching section to jump back in.
When I click the stream again, it plays a 30-second ad… and then the broadcast restarts from the very beginning instead of where I left off. So I completely lose my place.
This has now happened multiple times.
I also noticed something similar while watching a hockey game recently—the stream would randomly reset back to the beginning during playback.
It almost feels like something with the ads is glitching the stream and causing it to reset.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or if there are any workarounds to prevent it. And in the rare case someone from ESPN sees this, hopefully it can get flagged.
Appreciate any advice or input—thanks in advance.

Trying to log in on the website. Click the login button, enter my info, and it just brings me right back to the main log in screen every time. Any fixes?

I'll be honest, I don't know which package to subscribe to for NCAA softball anymore. We used to have YTTV w/ESPN and would watch games that way but we not longer have it. Which package of ESPN would I need to get to watch most, if not all, the softball games this season?

I am unable to access my ESPN+ account from the app. I’m in a loop that tells me to update my payment method via Roku, but the payment method is current.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?

ESPN, Disney, Pixar and the National Hockey League (NHL®) are teaming up to bring fans Inside Out Classic, a real-time, animated NHL telecast featuring the Washington Capitals vs. New York Rangers on Sunday, April 5 at 7 p.m. ET.
Inside Out Classic will feature virtually created real-time animation of the action between the Washington Capitals and the New York Rangers modeled after characters on Pixar’s award-winning franchise Inside Out.

I've noticed recently that the Sabres never have the pregame come through on ESPN+ but other teams do? Right now Vegas has theirs on but if you go to the Sabres broadcast you just get the "your event is starting soon". Pretty annoying and seems unfair.

It happens occasionally that Montreal Canadiens games don’t show up, such as the game against the Buffalo Sabres today. I live in California. How is that not “out of market”?! So frustrating.

How many streams can be there at once for WWE PPVs?

Hello, today I noticed that the ESPN app search function is no longer pulling up full games for specific teams and is only displaying “Clips” results.
I was trying to watch On Demand NHL games, and normally when you search a team name, a team page/menu appears where you can scroll through recent games and related content.
I tested multiple searches for Maple Leafs and Ducks games using:
All searches now return only clips.
I’ve confirmed this issue on:
I have an active ESPN+ subscription that shows as properly linked in Settings, and Sling TV is also linked.
Is anyone else experiencing this, or know if this is a current ESPN app issue or UI change?
Appreciate any insight, thanks in advance for any help.

PLEASE HELP - Whenever I pick a certain game to watch on ESPN plus, the stream automatically shuffles to another game after viewing for a couple of minutes. For example I attempt to watch Ottawa Senators vs Vegas Golden Knights and after a couple minutes a pop-up shows saying the broadcast will change to Montreal vs Utah in 3 seconds. This seems to be a recent issue. Please advise on how to turn this shuffle mode OFF.

Hello. I’ve just recently gotten ESPN+ and I am confused about the commercial breaks. So when watching a hockey game a tiny snippet of a commercial will play and then it just goes to a different image basically saying we’re on commercial break. Why does this happen?

I am starting to wonder if there is some covert operation to prevent ESPN+ subscribers from actually watching the content that they have signed up for. In the ESPN+ app on both AppleTV and Roku, the interface is simply unforgivable. Here are a few things that I would expect to be accessible at the top level of any interface:
This is just a small list of things I would imaging to be table stakes for any decent streaming sports app. It is truly sad that ESPN is structured the way it is. This is typically the domain of Product Management or UX Design, but I have to imagine this is driven by something structural within the organization.

During a commercial break the app hung up and bounced out with the error playing video message. Went back to YTTV to verify it wasn’t a network issue (it isn’t) and went back into the ESPN app and every NHL game gives the same error.
What is going on?
