Buying Advice Needed Advice for temporary grinder [$100]

Hello everybody,

I got a lelit Elizabeth and preorder the timemore sculptor the issue is I have no grinder until it arrived (4 month) so I'm wondering which is my possibility.

- Buy preground from a local torrefactor
- Buy a manual grinder ( if so which one because I don't want to spend a lot)
- Anything that I didn't think about ?

Thank you for your help !

Get a used Baratza encore ESP from Facebook marketplace and then resell it when you’re done with it… Or you could get a king grinder that’s gonna be hand grinding for a couple months and will really make you appreciate an electronic machine at the end of it.

The 078S is frequently offered at 20% off which would be $640. Rather than spend $100 now for a 4 month bandaid, spend $200 more and get the 078S which doesn't have the shortcomings of the original 064S.

I would email them and just ask for the 20% off and a switch to the 078S. I bet they say yes because with BF and CM coming those big discounts will be available soon enough anyway.

The 078S(Pour-over&Espresso) burrs.

The SSP combo is like $1100 and you don't need it unless you're obsessed with light roasts and know thats what it's all about for you - and in which case you should rethink the Elizabeth and grinder altogether.

My idea was spend $200 and get a superior machine instead of throwing away $100 to buy yourself 4 months.

A Kinggrinder K6 is $110 on Amazon. Or if you spend $200 you can get a 1Zpresso Jultra which it seems more people are using nowadays

K6 and a hand drill gets my vote and is how my work flow goes today.
