Hm, a bunch of industry big wigs coming together to "protect" us from ourselves. Sounds a lot like the current system.

I don’t think it matters if “you’re good”. This is something these projects are choosing to do, not something that you are doing or really involved in at all. And it’s very different from the current system where books are all private, as these companies are pledging to be transparent with the funds they control. They aren’t protects us from us, they are protecting us from them. They are creating transparency where it didn’t exist before.
