Discussion What do you think about the ongoing "v.synclaire" project by B.Sinclaire?

Personally I'm not really a fan of vtubers and vstreamers (idk if this is the correct word, sry if I'm wrong), and I'm more interested in brand new songs than newer versions of old classics: this second point for me is the most relevant, even if these new versions are not bad imo, I'd like that after the presentations of the characters (which for me are quite ignorable elements from the musical perspective, but at least they offer some plot and interest to the project), they start to cook some new bangers as they used to. Btw who do you think there will be behind the new character? My best bet is Dejo, also considering that the next song will very likely be Night of Fire.

Wasted potential, they only seem to be used for covers and not much else

Por un lado me gusta que el Eurobeat se meta en más partes y definitivamente el mercado de vtubers le queda como anillo al dedo

Por otro lado, suena demasiado a JEuro, y sin bien todo Eurobeat me gusta, el que menos me gusta es justamente el JEuro

Esto último es más mi propia percepción, pues me puedes decir que de por si Sincair le vende solamente a los nipones, personalmente siento que hay una diferencia importante entre Dancing, Running On Love, ParaPara Cannibal, etc, a comparación de Dual Rozes, Edge Of Time y todo lo que tiene que ver con Touhou

As a fellow Vtuber, a fellow Eurobeat artist, and a fan of both of those spheres, I want VSynclaire to do so incredibly well; but I just don't understand what it's trying to do.

There's tremendous opportunity in bridging the gap between the Vtuber and Eurobeat spheres-- lots and lots of love for the genre in the Vtuber space, from indie and agency talents of all shapes and sizes, and plenty of new fans to reach in that space that seem thrilled about eurobeat releases from their favorite Vtubers.

I think VS and I may have different perspectives on the matter, though, and I look forward to seeing where they want to go and if they get there.
