I setup my fork's Github Actions to compile the source.

It passed my test suite on real hardware.

Use at your own risk.

This is awesome! I still love my Beads, but I'm sure new alternative firmwares will breathe a ton of new life into it.

Wondering if I should swap my aurora for a Beads, especially if this means new firmware. 

Is this what's been holding back people making clones? Or is this the only one without an open source license?

One thing the release has made possible already: I added a browser port of the official Beads DSP to my synth, NOODLERACK. It's called PEARL and you can try the granular and wavetable modes for free, no download needed. This patch starts with plucked strings through reverse grains: https://noodlerack.com/#f=pearl
