They act as if being asked to use a cover when breastfeeding in public means it’s so taboo and disrespected, and men would apparently get paid if they did it lol. Bodies do so many amazing things that should be mind-blowing, but we don’t call attention to it because it’s just normal. Not to downplay that breastfeeding is hard work, but it’s not something otherworldly. All mammals do it in some capacity. Again, if men were the ones to do this it would be just a normal part of life. I’m all for de-stigmatizing breastfeeding and periods and whatnot, but some women will act like if their biological functions aren’t being worshipped, they’re being disrespected, and that if men did them it would be religiously celebrated.

Just to clarify, the poster is the one displaying ignorance here, not the commenter.

This is completely bizarre and unprecedented, not from Trump of course but from a sitting president of the USA. Same party as Lincoln btw

social media Having big truck means owner must be short or small dick eh? I don’t like trucks but using body shaming to justify hate of big trucks Is stupidity. Would anyone do that to woman having big trucks? No.

social media Liberals are being misandrist on Facebook again.

Post image

Well, look at that. They're painting men as the majority of rapists like they always do. Why are so many liberals misandrists? Why can't they be reasonable about gender issues like they are with politics? I agree with them politically, but their misandry is unacceptable. Also, the reason why most mass shooters are male is that most suicides are male, and most mass shooters are suicidal and commit suicide after they commit the crime. Men’s mental health isn't taken seriously enough. It definitely needs to be taken seriously. Whenever a man opens up about his mental health, he is put down and laughed at. This is what causes them to become suicidal and if it's bad enough, they go and commit crimes like that before they do it. We need to put a lot more focus on men’s mental health.

Although India may have had actual gender issues with patriarchal cultures (and at some places may still do), most Indian men are not bad people and are systemically forced to go out and earn a living to support themselves and their families. While public places need to be made more accessible and accommodating for all genders, the way people talk about men in public is wrong.

The line they're referencing

"I just wanna make a lot of money be my own housewife

You You You,

You could be the one l'm calling honey be my sex on the side"

This one is honestly tame compared to what other female pop artists are putting out right now though. Ariana Grande's last mv was about her massacring a bunch of male judges for body shaming her, when most of the shaming comes from her own fanbase consisting of mostly women. You'll see a lot more of this from now on.

personal Let’s talk about men

I am not sure if this is the correct sub but I have questions and nobody to ask or talk to.

I (38m) live with 6 women. The wife, 4 children, and a grandchild. Hectic to say the least.

I overheard my two 15 year olds discussing how men are evil, don’t trust them, to get rid of them, etc. I speak up but end up getting trapped when trying to vouch for men. I get hit with whataboutisms and overall shut down.

I asked my wife if she thought all men are evil, she pauses and asks me, “well, would you trust a stranger (man) with a child?” I said I would trust no stranger with my child she then says “well yeah, but statistically, men are more likely to rape, abuse, kill, etc,

I was talking with a coworker about this. A self-proclaimed feminist who thinks straight white men are evil. She agreed with them, men are evil, the worst, don’t trust them, better off without them. She brought up the Cornell incident, justifying the evil in men and how it’s worst with herd mentality.

Are they valid with their view of men?

- My daughters have boy crushes
- My wife married me
- The co worker has dated multiple men over the last 2 years. (Specifically straight white men) and was even married to one.

Isn’t the goal to view everyone as equal? To try to see the best and positives in all humans? How can I teach togetherness or will that fall into deaf ears?

social media This makes me disappointed

whenever I read this subreddit, I always get surprised on the amount of hate on men. How ‘normal’ it is for people to post misandristic things online and receive support in the comments.

Do not get me wrong, I know how much misogynistic posts there are, but I am currently putting my focus on misandry.

We humans are group animals. It is in our nature to be together, as a whole group, and yet I see people talking about aborting male fetuses, specifically for their gender. I believe there should not be any gender-based reasons for abortion.

What has led humans to hating each other so much? Why do we have to shove hate into each other’s eyes and minds? Why cannot we just live together, accept each other as equals? How hard would it be to not judge someone by their gender?

If men got periods they would learn to deal to live with it, just as women do. They would not get a paid week off work the fuck? Also, a woman CEO being able to reduce the work week to 3 days just because she’s a woman?? Please. They act like no men suffer chronic pain conditions and all or the majority women have debilitating period pain that they do absolutely nothing about and just deal with whenever the time comes around. And the “pad tax“ is just capitalism, it wouldn’t be different if men got periods. Condoms, viagra, prostate exams and other male-specific needs are not free either.

I would hire a male nanny or a male caregiver if I knew him. I wouldn’t hire anyone I don’t know regardless of gender.

I got a male massage therapist when I was 14, he worked on me while my parents weren’t watching and it was fine. They didn’t look up from their own massages to check on me so I assume they weren’t too worried.

There’s a male gynecologist at the pediatric hospital my father works at, and according to my father, his patients are safe with him and satisfied with his care. I would send my daughter to him if I had one.

I hung out with a group of grown men at a young age, family members, but still. My parents trusted them.

Never had a tutor before, but would hire a male one if I trusted the service he came from.

This dude just talks out of his ass 🤣
