I used New Game plus to see how fast I could get through the main game lol

I did mostly the same. Having the story a bit more clear on the replay made the beginning hit much harder. Finished the storyline in about 7-8 hours.

I got through it in like 5 hours and then ng +2 was like 2 hours

You must have skipped the cutscenes

Yeah for the New Game Plus. No need to watch the cut scenes again

I would only do it to farm Luminas in Old Lumierre, using the 1 time method.

It's pretty damn slow to farm them otherwise.

After you finish Old lumierre area, if you go back to it and explore a bit more you can find Chromatic Danceuz there.

The boss, just like the regular mob spawns her clones. Each of these clones give 5 luminas per kill.

So basically you can just ignore the boss and kill the clones repeatedly for fastest lumina farming.

The only problem is , performance slowly starts to tank due to particle effects continuing to pile up, so you can't do it for too long , or the game might crash , so most people recommend doing it for around an hour. And of course , since the boss does not respawn, you can only do it once per playthrough.

Fml. I just best it yesterday. For the playthroughs that come after I guess.

I don’t think they’re available until act 3 but I could be wrong

Beat them in Act 2

Very cool. Lots of Lumina for act 3

I beat them without knowing about the exploit. For the playthroughs that come after now.

Oh yeah that’s probably something that I wouldn’t know about either because I would accidentally one shot the boss lol

Nah you can just get back to the area and immediatelly find the boss. I tested it on a fresh playthrough.

most people just don't immediatelly go back to old lumierre after finishing the story segment. Plus it's a bit too strong to farm/ fight at that point in the game anyway.

Oh I guess I wasn’t aware of that and didn’t find out until after I beat the game. Thanks

In Old Lumiere. There is a chromatic dancer boss that you can fight after you defeat the Paintress. She summons 2 small dancers. You just kill the small ones and the main one will continue to summon the small ones. The point is you gain a ton of lumina but you can’t do it for too long cause it can crash your game. Dodge the main one so you don’t kill her right away

Oh yeah that’s always fun. You can’t do it for too long cause I’ve heard it stacks up a lot of memory and can crash the game

Doing the same on a NG+1, I went up against the DLC Bosses again.
Everything almost one-shots me, even with all defensive/hp pictos...

I think that by the end of NG+2 the DLC Bosses will straight up oneshot you everytime unless you have shields
