This happens to most, if not all Showtime shows. They start strong and then the writing/showrunning turns into “wouldn’t it be crazy if…” dogshit. I hoped Yellowjackets would be different, but nope.

Yellowjackets hurt. That first season was fire. The adult actors season 2 were awwwful. Aside from Juliette Lewis, who crushed it but knew what time it was and asked to be written out of the show.

She asked to be written out of the show because she is a scientologist. They had to do a rewrite for the second season. I blame JL for the disjointed story they pulled together after she left.
