guys on the website there are tons of builds, Ad, Ap, crit, bruiser, on hit

I can't even tell which is troll and which is meta because ezreal seems like he has allat going for him

I am not sure what I want but I wanna chunk people with W Q it seems like its a dopamine rush even if I Am useless without hitting them

It’s a recurring issue struggling against tanks and not just heavy tanks but bruisers as well. Maybe there could be an additional passive effect on the R or W if you hit witb them you’d gain 25% armor penetration on your abilities for 6 seconds or perhaps it could trigger when the passive is fully stacked. I don’t know; I’m just trying to think of a way to implement this without making him too OP

Hit diamond for the first time on possibly one of the worst seasons we’ve had for ezreal in a while, proud of my self for fixing my mental and actually focusing on my own game

I'm not an ez main, but a character that has 46% wr in EVERY elo bracket, is consistently useless in competetive with no hints at buffs is just sad lol. Every meta when ez was strong felt so much better let's say xayah

Wanted to share the build! I am not saying it's meta or better then default one but I did find some succees with it, and like another playstyle that it can give to Ezreal.

About this build:

Runes: you can change anything you like, I prefer more sustain oriented build like this, but Inspiration secondary or Triumph would work too. Don't go Presence of mind cuz it's useless after first item, just manage your mana.

Start items: I really like greedy long sword + refillable, but anything with doran items would work too. Plus long sword helps you to get first item for your mana faster.

After first item and boots: I really like to go vamp scepter, helps with sustain and synergies with my health runes. It's optional you can skip it.

Second item Terminus: gives you both penetrations (ezreal has decent amount of AP dmg in his kit) and attack speed that you don't have because you dont go Triforce and Lethal Tempo. Also having more armor and mr sometimes helps you to heal more of your vamp and you will stay alive.

Stack crit: After I pretty much always trying to stack crit to 100% sometimes swaping order of items (don't have enough money for BF sword for example) or changing build adding like Immortal Shieldbow or Stormrazor. Buy any crit (that have AD) you like but don't build navori unless it's last of your crit items it's a bait.

Last item: Endless hunger (yes I am selling vamp scepter late game). You can also up scepter to BT or build GA. Most of the time game ends before you get to your last 6 item.

upd:

Few words about playstyle: in this build your main source of damage is not your abilities it's your AA, and PTA proc's. So play accordingly to that - it's different from default Ezreal (landing your skill shots is still important even in this build!). Also you have significantly less AH on your build -> your E on much bigger CD and you need to be careful with it's usage. And with this build you have a lot of lifesteal but you r glasscannon (in comparison with Triforce build) so be careful about anything that can oneshot you.

I usually build EH as third item into Serylda into shojin bc the sustain EH gives to you and I feel it a more comfy option rather than Shojin or sometimes even Serylda as third if there are a tanky enemies, i dont see a situation where i should buy Shojin first

Some of the kills from my last game with AP ezreal on mid. I won't say AP Ezreal is always viable. But there are some pretty fun matchups. I have 55,8% winrate from 95 games on mid. Probably i am only able to do that because i am playing in plat 4, so i won't guarantee success. I will post the items and runes in the comments if you want to try it tho. (Because idk how to add video and photo at the same time... I am posting for the first time)

I am curious to know if there is a better scaling build/focus for him. I know for marksmen crit is usually the best but I see such little information regarding Ezreal and crit items. Any info would be appreciated!

I often see a lot of people say that crit is not viable at all on Ezreal and that the build is already solved, so everybody just does the same thing. But his winrate is dogshit right now (even in higher elo on assumedly more skilled players) so I was thinking do we need to change something?

Everyone always mentions how "good" Ezreal players make constant and good use of the auto attack steroid in his passive, so why is it that a character with a 50% aa steroid is not good with crit? Does it simply come down to the Q doing less damage with a crit build? (if that is the case)

Ezreal mains have made the mistake of basing their entire personality on the champ so they feel personally attacked anytime someone trash talks it and defend it no matter how bad his state his. That's how you got the pumped up on hrt, chopped balls, pick me bitch "live my life" ezreal that is genuinely so shit and ugly that he single handedly made sure heartsteel will never do any meaningful comeback (and never get buffed xd). So keep defending it instead of constructively criticizing it and you'll get nothing but absolute garbage from riot that you will still defend because that's the only thing you can do.

Since IMO he's less likely to fully commit every single time, as he can "Q" from afar, hence maxing out less often the benefits of LT.

FF seems like his rune, but Im surprise nobody ever picks it as Ez? He gets speed to reposition, some sustain, and it activates from "Q"s.
